Eid is that of one who keeps on remembering the oppressed, deprived, poor, have-nots and deserving persons - Hamid Moosavi ISLAMABAD, June 15: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi has said that real Eid is that of one who keeps on remembering the oppressed, deprived, poor, have-nots and deserving persons. Eidul Fitr is the ‘Shukrana’ of blessing of Ramazanul Mubarak and the practical display of Islamic World’s unity that is the symbol of seriousness, politeness, and Islamic culture. The world colonialists are becoming active all around, ammunition is raining over Kashmir and Palestine, humanity is moaning, and barbarism is smiling, and in these circumstances there is need to promise to continue support for the oppressed. This was stated by him in his message on the occasion of Eidul Fitr that is being observed throughout the country today (Saturday). Agha Moosavi said recent increase in the petroleum prices gives an impression that whether it is elected government or the caretaker set-up, the rulers are bound to take set-out economic decisions. He said it seems that the rulers are under the obligation to implement the directives issued by the IMF and the World Bank. Gift of heavy price hike on the occasion of Eidul Fitr to people is tantamount to killing the already half-killed people. He advised that the policy matters should be left for decision by the elected government that would be formed as a result of the oncoming elections. He said the caretaker government should divert its attention on holding transparent and fair elections. The TNFJ chief said opening of Eidul Fitr begins by paying ‘Fitrah’. This occasion is a practical display of mutual unity, understanding and brotherhood of the Islamic World that comes on a single platform on this occasion. He said the international colonial powers consider this pious and spiritual occasion a threat for them despite the fact that it is not a forum against anyone rather it is an occasion to display humbleness of obedience and worship in which everyone stands in the same row despite their individual status. He said the purpose of the Eidul Fitr congregation is to tell the world that all human beings are equal and no white has edge over black and no Arab on the Ajam rather the standards of the supremacy is based on Taqwa only. Agha Moosavi said on the occasion of Eidul Fitr we should promise that we would not give up our support to the oppressed and the have-nots and would continue condemning compression and repression. He made it clear that all days in all nations and religions are seen with respect to their religious, national and historic perspective rather these are observed as memory. He said all human beings residing in east, west, north, and south including Zionists and Christians display their happiness in accordance to their own ideologies. He said when Khalil-e-Khuda Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) came out from the fire set out by Nimrah, his followers termed that day as the day of Eid. The followers of Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) observed Eid when the ‘Maida’ Dastarkhwan was sent on them. He said Allah Says: Oh, Purwardigar! Send ‘Maida’ on us on the day which will be declared the day of Eid. Similarly, Islam is a complete code of life and covers all aspects of life. Eidul Fitr is one of those days that were declared respectable, he added. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya appealed the countrymen to offer special prayers for end to difficulties of the Islamic World, annexation of occupied Muslim areas, independence of Kashmir and Palestine, solidarity and integrity of the motherland Pakistan, restoration of durable peace, success of the Operation Raddul Fasaad, end to terrorism by bowing down in Bargah-e-Khudawandi. |
