A representative delegation of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqh e Jafariya Pakistan met with the Chief election commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja

RAWALPINDI, January 3: A representative delegation of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqh e Jafariya Pakistan met with the Chief election commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja. The delegation demanded ban on proscribed organizations participating in elections and electoral politics on sectarian grounds. The questsion was raised that if as per law, proscribed organizations can neither open their offices nor can they propagate their message while they are not even allowed to collect animal skins then how can they be allowed to contest elections? In the meeting with chief election commissioner, the representative delegation of TNFJ led by the Secretary General Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami presented proposals to protect national interests and remove impediments in the way of lasting peace in the country. The meeting was held in a cordial environment where the chief election commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja carefully listened to TNFJ’s stance and assured action in accordance with the constitution and law. After the meeting with Chief election commissioner, Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami while talking to the media in front of Election Commission office said that we have made it clear to the election commission that foreign funding to religious and political parties is the root cause of political instability and challenges in law and order situation that we have been condemning and demanding to block for more than three decades. He said that according to Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi’s stance, electoral politics in the name of sect and other biases is suicidal for the nation and therefore, under the leadership of Allama Syed Hussain Muqadasi, we will continue our struggle against policies that promote biases and discrimination. Allama Imami said that Shia Sunni both jointly participated in Pakistan movement and election process must also be run in accordance with the spirit of Pakistan’s fundamental ideology. Electoral politics based on biases and differences of religion, sect, language or area is like undermining the founding ideology. Allama Imami said that the concept of state given by Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam must be preferred and implementation of National Action Plan must be ensured in accordance with the national aspirations. Elections after compromising the law and principles will be meaningless. In response to a question, Allama Raja Bisharat Hussain Imami said that the details of proscribed terrorist organizations are present on NACTA’s website and in accordance with the national action plan and anti-terrorism act, ban outfits not allowed to operate in the country. When the ban outfits cannot collect animal skins, then how can they be allowed to participate in elections to throw national unity in the flames extremism and peal off people’s skins. Central secretary Public Relations Syed Hassan Kazmi, Chairman Political Cell Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Allama Fakhar Abbas Abidi, Ammar Yasir Alvi, Allama Ijlal Haider Haidery, Syed Muhammad Abbas Kazmi and Shafqat Ali Turabi were also present in TNFJ’s delegation. Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami vowed that Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqh e Jafariya’s sacred struggle will continue to protect Pakistan’s founding ideology, promote peace and harmony and eliminate biases and discrimination.
