Month of fasting provides an opportunity to gather maximum blessings of Almighty Allah - Syeda Khizraan Moosavi Godly people perform worship and are rewarded many times - Address to the religious gathering RAWALPINDI, August 7: A religious gathering on the topic of “blessings of the month of Ramzan” was arranged by Anjuman Kanizaan e Imam Ul ASR Wal Zaman at Shoabe Abi Talib. Syeda Khizraan Moosavi, while addressing the gathering, said that according to the teachings of the Holy Quran purity is near to the Holy progeny of the Holy Prophet (pbut) while impurity is far away; the closer one is to them, the more purified one becomes. She said that to gather the maximum blessings and mercy of Almighty Allah, people should do righteous deeds and keep away from that which is forbidden. She said that in the wider interests of the country and nation, everyone should demonstrate coherence, mutual understanding and display a spirit of sacrifice instead of adopting the politics of self-interest and mischievous deeds. She said that the month of Ramzan provides the best opportunity to earn reward, refraining from wrong doings and for self-accountability while the best deed of all is fasting itself. Almighty Allah says “fasting is for Me and I will reward it”. She said that the benefits of fasting are so many that it can even be equivalent to one’s whole life’s divine obligations if observed with full faith. Fasting has been declared as a shield against sins because in other months generally and in the month of Ramzan particularly one tries to do good deeds while refraining from forbidden ones. She said that pious people beg to Almighty Allah for His forgiveness in the month of Ramzan and by praising Almighty Allah, gather His innumerable bounties. She said that the month of Ramzan provides an opportunity to understand the teachings of the religion as well as to perform worships wholeheartedly while recognizing one’s mistakes. It allows one to seek His mercy and forgiveness so that one can be entitled to His mercy and blessings. |
