RAWALPINDI, January 27: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that respect for the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and his Holy Progeny (pbut) is a must and their desecration is a great sin. This was stated by him while announcing to observe “Hafta Azmat-e-Mustafa and Mujtaba” from 23-29 Safar-ul-Muzaffar in connection with the anniversary of the death of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and martyrdom of Shahzada Sulah-o-Aman Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (pbuh). He said Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) is the source of survival for human beings and his grandson Hazrat Imam Hassan (pbuh) is the symbol of peace. He called upon the followers of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and Holy Progeny (pbut) to express their love and devotion with these holy personalities by observing their days during the “Hafta Azmat-e-Mustafa and Mujtaba”.

Agha Moosavi said academic, spiritual, religious and worldly values delivered by these holy personalities to human beings are the source of inspiration for us and are instrumental in our welfare. He expressed the hope that people will disseminate these values to others utilising all their energy, considering it their obligation to do so. He said devotion to the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and his Holy Progeny (pbut) guarantees welfare and satisfaction to the world of humanity. He said on this occasion, we resolve that no satanic force will be allowed to desecrate the importance of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp), his Holy Progeny (pbut) and his pious companions (R.A.) and would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice in this connection.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Majalis-e-Aza will be held and mourning processions will be taken out during the Hafta Azmat-e-Mustafa and Mujtaba during which it would be made clear on the atheist world that the respect of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and his Holy Progeny (pbut) are our biggest assets on which no bargaining will be allowed.

Meanwhile, a central committee of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has been formed to organise programmes for the Hafta Azmat-e-Mustafa and Mujtaba. Dr. S.M. Rizvi has been nominated as Convener of this committee. Salman Haideri will be the Secretary and Syed Nawab Shah will the Deputy Secretary of this committee.
