Rawalpindi, January 28: An important meeting of the TNFJ’s committee of Hafta e Azmat e Mustafa O Mujataba was  held on Thursday in the Head Quarter of Maqtab e Tasheyyo, which was presided over by central convener of the committee Dr S M Rizvi. The Committee finalized the arrangements for upcoming programmes of Ayam e Aza in connection with the anniversary of the death of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan e Mujtaba (pbuh) which is being observed from 23rd to 29th Saffar ul Muzzafar throughout the world.

While addressing the meeting Dr. S M Rizvi said that the life of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (pbuh) is a beacon of light for humanity at large to bring peace in the world. He asked the Azadaran e Mazloom e Karbala to organize the Programmes of Majalis and matami processions in this connection with courage and bravery but remaining alert so that enemies of the country are not successful in their wicked aims. He advised the azadars to refrain from any negative activities so that, by practical unity, the conspiracies of the enemies of the religion and motherland may be defeated; and to show the world that the happiness and grievances of the people of Pakistan are shared and that an attack on any part of Pakistan or its people shall be considered as attack on Pakistan.

Dr S M Rizvi demanded from the rulers and politicians to put aside all their differences and utilize all their energies to root out terrorism. He said that the Govt. and politicians should express their hatred towards all banned groups and deal with them with an iron hand. He expressed his great concern and sadness that in some places the representatives of the government and opposition are being friendly by keeping close contact with them, when these are the culprits who are causing mayhem in society and therefore should be dealt with severely. He said that where tragedies happened the injured and those affected are crying with pain while these agents of outside powers are busy in their negative campaign.

He also demanded that the government provide maximum security to the programmes of Hafta e Azmat e Mustafa O Mujtaba throughout the country as the programmes of azadari will continue till the 8th of Rabi ul Awwal.

Dr S M Rizvi also emphasized on the fact that, there are times when the government and law enforcement  authorities catch terrorists but  the judiciary releases them, which is which is a matter of great concern for all the nation.

A resolution passed in the meeting strongly condemned the incidents of Lahore and Karachi and the stance of Quaid e Millat e Jaffariya was repeated that a terrorist does not belong to any school of thought or country, he should only be considered as terrorist, and so should be dealt with only in the context of terrorist. The resolution also strongly condemned target killings in Karachi and demanded that the culprits be brought to justice and given exemplary punishment.

The resolution demanded that the government adopt wisdom in the issue of Baluchistan since the leaders of Jamhuri Watan Party had already expressed their loyalty to Pakistan as well as respect towards the founder of Pakistan, Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, in the media and therefore they should be trusted and respected by adopting the policy ifham o tafheem. Those in power must learn a lesson from the tragedy of 71 since the nation does not want to see another Bangladesh to be created.
