Martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali Al Naqi (pbuh) was observed with great religious zeal and reverence; Imam Ali Al Naqi (pbuh) was a symbol of knowledge, excellence, humbleness and generosity – Address of Bint e Ali Moosavi, Mohsin Hamdani, Ajaz Mudarris and others. 

RAWALPINDI, June 7: In connection with the announcement made by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the martyrdom anniversary of 10^th holy Imam, Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) was commemorated with respect and dignity on 3^rd Rajab ul Murajab, Monday. On this occasion, Majalis e Aza were held throughout Pakistan which concluded at the brought out of Shabeeh e Taboot and Matamdari. Similarly, in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Zakireen and Scholars while addressing to the various programs of Majalis e Aza, threw light on the pious character of Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh).

 Syeda Bint  e Ali Moosavi while addressing to the Majlis e Aza that was held at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman Kaneezan-e-Imam al Asr e Wal Zaman, said that Almighty Allah nominated prophets and messengers to make people aware of their benefit and losses so that they follow the righteous path and protect their lives from sins and that is the reason that those Prophets and messengers were decorated with the good qualities and never fell into the satanic traps to be the role model for rest of the humanity. She said that amongst those righteous leaders, was the holy personality of Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh). The name of the mother of Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) is Samana Maghribia while the famous title of Imam (pbuh) is known as Naqi while the Moatasim, Wasiq, Mutawakal, Muntasir, Mustaeen and Motaz Abbasi are amongst the caliphs of that time. In order to protect the legacy of his grandfather Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh & hhp) and Hazrat Imam Ali (pbuh), the rigorous efforts made by the Holy Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) have been an integral part of the history. The holy Imam confronted with all the pains and grief caused to him by the cruel leaders of that time but did not submit unless he kissed martyrdom. She said that the holy grave of Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) is situated in Sermen Raay (Sammara). 

 Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani while addressing to the majlis e Aza at Imam Bargah Qasr e Abu Talib (pbuh) said that Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) was an ideal due to his knowledge, and piousness who confronted seven cruel dictators of his era but none of them could divert him from the path of righteousness. In his address to the majlis Zakir Syed Azmat Shah said that Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) is that great personality whose character if followed could lead us towards making this world a hub of peace.  Syed Naseer Sabzwari and Zakir Ghulam Fareed also addressed the majlis while at the end of the Majlis e Aza, Taboot was brought out and matamdari was performed.  

Allama Sheikh Ejaz Hussain Mudarris while addressing to the Majlis at Imam Bargah Fatimiya Chityan Hatiyan, said that Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) is that great personality who through his exemplary patience, forbearance and tolerance, proved to the world that no dictator will be allowed to use Islam as a cover to promote his evil agenda and protect political interests. He said that Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) also proved with his actions that martyrdom is a medal which has been dearest to the progeny of the holy Prophet of Islam (pbut) as the holy Prophet of Islam (pbuh & hhp) has also declared martyrdom as the best way to leave this world. On this occasion, the incidents of bomb attack on a bakery in Naushehra and drone attack in South Waziristan were condemned through a resolution. In the resolution the government was demanded to take concrete and bold steps to deal with terrorism and drone attacks. Taboot-e-Imam Ali Naqi (pbuh) was brought out at the end of the Majlis e Aza.
