RAWALPINDI, March 2: Programmes of Alamgeer Ayyam ul Huzn as announced by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi continued on Tuesday. Majalis e aza were organized under the auspices of different religious and matami organization in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad as well as throughout the country. A majlis e aza in connection with Ayyam ul Huzn was organized under the auspices of Hayeat e Tulbae Islamia at Aza Khana e Masooma e Qum (pbuh). Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing majlis said that in order to get freedom from colonial powers, the pious character of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) is a beacon of light to be followed. He said that Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) followed the religion of his forefathers. According to the historians, the forefathers of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) were of the religion of Hazrat Ibrahim (pbuh). He said that Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) not only looked after and brought up Hazrat Mohammad (pbuh & hhp) after the death of Hazrat Abdul Mutalib (pbuh) but also bore the hardship of the Shoab e Abi Talib, a fact no Muslim can deny. He said that if the faith of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) was different from the faith of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) then the character of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) would have been like Abu Jahel and Abu Lahab. On every occasion, Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) helped and protected the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and this is a proof of his faith. The Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) said that Ali (pbuh) is the sum of complete Faith, so how can we even begin to measure the faith of his father? It is for this reason that the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) declared the year of his death as the year of sorrow. Allama Zaidi said that at the time of death, Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) said that I am dying while being on the religion of Hazrat Abdul Mutalib (pbuh). Aapa Syeda Hussain while addressing the majlis organized by Anjuman Kaneezaan e Imam ul ASR Wal Zaman (pbuh) said that during the life time of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh), the infidels of Mecca did not have the courage to raise a finger at the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) but after the sad demise of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh), the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) was forced to migrate to Medina and 105 wars were imposed on him. She said that even today the Muslim world is facing wars and evil powers are busy in dividing oppressed nations and the Islamic world so that they may not be able to gain freedom and acquire their rights. The examples of Kashmir, Palestine and other freedom struggles like those in Iraq and Afghanistan where this is being carried out. A majlis was held under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtaran e Islam at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. Renowned scholar Dr Khanum Zahra Gull while addressing majlis said that Muslim should follow the pious character of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh), instead of the Western world, who singlehandedly not only protected the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) but also helped Islam to gain strength which is an example for all to follow. She said that after Abu Talib (pbuh), the pious character of the children of Ali O Batool (pbut) is a beacon of light in order to repel the enemies of Religion and Shariat. |
