RAWALPINDI, March 6: The convener of the “ Universal Days of Grief  Committee” TNFJ Pakistan MH Jafferi paid special thanks to all schools of thoughts for displaying exemplary unity and brother hood during the programs of Alamgeer Ayyam ul Huzn in connection with the death anniversary of Hazrat Abu Talib (SA) from February 28 till march 4th, 2011.

While addressing the members of the committee on Saturday, he said that the ascension of Islam, the solution for all the Muslims’ problems and the survival of Muslim countries lay in the restoration of the honor of Shair Allah and the Deen o Shariah. He said that Muslims should avoid double faced policy by wholeheartedly respecting the Mazarat E Muqadasa whose respect is obligatory according to the Holy Quran and whose disrespect is a great sin.

M H Jafferi emphasized that nations are recognized by their historical heritage. He stressed to Muslim leaders and international organizations that they pay attention in preserving the Islamic historical heritage, especially the graveyard of Janat ul Baqi and Janat ul Mu’alla where the ancestors of the Holy Prophet, his companions, wives and descendent are buried. Before Aal e Saud these graves were magnificent tombs which were demolished by Saudi government just to impose their own beliefs. Now it is impossible to pay respect to the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and Khulfa e Rashideen while visiting their last place of rest which is the encroachment of basic human rights, yet Islam preaches respect for all places of worship, whether Islamic and otherwise. In the resolution presented in the meeting, it was demanded from the government of Pakistan, while full filling Mousavi Junejo Accord of 1985, to put diplomatic pressure on the Saudi government to restore the respect and dignity of the Mazarat e Muqadisa by rebuilding them.
