The nation should seek forgiveness and help from Almighty Allah to obtain deliverance from the flood disaster; Imam Jafar Al Sadiq (pbuh) lit candle of knowledge in the darkness of ignorance – Address of Ulema to the Majalis of Ashra e Sadiq e Aal e Mohammad RAWALPINDI, September 17: As per the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Ashra e Sadiq e Aal e Muhammad (pbuh) in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar e Sadiq (pbuh) continued on Friday throughout the country as well as in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. On this occasion, Majalis e Aza and programme of Matamdari were held in Aza Khanaz and Imam Bargahs under the auspices of different religious and matami organizations. A majlis e Sadiq e Aal e Mohammad (pbuh) was held under the auspices Anjuman e Kanizaan e Imam al ASR Wal Zaman at Shoabe Abi Talib (pbuh). Khatiba Aal e Nabi Syeda Bint e Ali Moosavi while addressing to the Majlis said that Imam Jafar Al Sadiq (pbuh) fought against falsehood in the most difficult time of dictatorship and defeated every conspiracy against true Islam which was on the brink of extinction. She said that due to the efforts of Imam Jafar Al Sadiq (pbuh) the teachings of Islam were continued and knowledge seekers from all over the world were coming to Madina and to quench their thirst for knowledge. Imam Abu Hanifa and numerous others received knowledge from Imam Jafar Al Sadiq (pbuh) and gained popularity all over the world. This matter was of a great concern to the tyrant rulers of his era who wanted an end to the teachings of the Holy Imam. She said that Imam Jafar Al Sadiq (pbuh) used to get anxious upon the deteriorating condition of Islam and used to pray to Almighty Allah for Muslim to follow the sir’rat e Mustaqeem - the right path. A majlis e Sadiq e Aal e Mohammad (pbuh) was held at Ali Hall Rawalpindi under the auspices of Haeyat e Tulbae Islamia. While addressing to the Majlis Allama Waqar Hussain Naqvi said that the plague of terrorism had made the life of humanity unbearable and to escape from its wrath all have to follow the teachings of Imam Jaffar Al Sadiq (pbuh). He clarified that Imam Sadiq (pbuh), while keeping the candle of knowledge lit, destroyed the darkness of ignorance Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani while addressing to the Majlis e Sadiq organized by Anjuman e Ghulamane Abu Talib (pbuh) said that in every era, to serve humanity with sincerity and honesty, the example set by Imam Sadiq is the best one to follow. He said that in order to attain freedom from difficulties, problems, terrorism and mayhem, practical following of the pious personalities is the need of the hour. On this occasion a resolution put forward by Chaudhri which was approved by the participants in which it was said that the problems and difficulties faced by the Muslims are due to their weakness. In the resolution, grave concern was expressed over the difficulties faced by the country due to the recent floods, dengue virus and terrorism. While expressing solidarity with those affected it was requested to the rulers and politicians to avoid throwing mud at each other in this time of need and should sincerely help those in need. The whole nation should seek forgiveness from Almighty Allah for their wrong doings so that He may send His mercy upon us. In the resolution a suicide attack on funeral congregation was condemned in Lower Deer and was considered a part of the continuous chain of terrorism and a heinous crime committed by the enemy of the motherland and the religion. It was demanded from the government to bring to justice all those who are involved in these heinous crimes. Appeal was also made to the chief justice of Pakistan to save Pakistan from the cancer of the terrorism by speeding up hearings of the situation of Karachi. |
