Today the Birth Anniversary of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (PBUH) will be celebrated as International Peace Day

American president Obama’s approval to the intelligence agencies and grant of funds to support the traitors and mutineers of Syria is highly condemnable and an open violation of territorial sovereignty, religious sanctions in Belgium and France are equivalent to hijacking the individual liberty and violation of International Laws - address of Amir Kazmi to the meeting of the committee of the “International Peace Day” 

RAWALPINDI, August 4: As announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosvi the birth anniversary of the grandson of the Holy Prophet Imam Hassan e Mujtaba (pbuh) will be celebrated on 15th of Ramadan as International Peace Day.  A meeting of International Peace Day Committee was held in which conveners from all over Pakistan including Federal area, AJK & Gilgit Baltistan participated.

The meeting was chaired by the Convener of the committee Syed Amir Kazmi. While addressing the meeting Syed Amir Kazmi said that the great personality of the family of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and second bearer of seal of Imamat Imam Hassan (pbuh) made it clear to the world with his character that Islam is the religion of peace. The Imam always preferred peace to blood shedding and condemned all types of oppression and cruelty. Syed Amir Kazmi appealed to all schools of thought to participate in the programs of International Peace Day and show aversion to all types of oppression, terrorism and terrorist groups and to express their unanimity with oppressed world.

In the meeting a resolution, moved by the secretary of the committee Syed Wajihul Hassan Kazmi, was adopted in which it was demanded from the government to ensure law & order during Aalmi Youm e Aman, asking people to be vigilant and to keep an eye on trouble makers. In the resolution great concern and condemnation was expressed over continued load shedding even in the month of Ramzan, suicide attacks, bomb blasts and target killings. It was demanded from the government to form a high level tribunal for interrogating incidents of terrorism including the incidents of Quetta and Karachi and that those responsible should be brought to justice.  The resolution asked for the government to take notice of the activities of the banned groups and to enforce the Anti-Terrorism Act in order to control terrorism. In another resolution great anxiety was expressed over the illegal interference of imperial powers in Islamic countries and while condemning the American president Obama’s approval to the intelligence agencies and grant of funds to support the traitors and mutineers of Syria, it was asked to America whether she herself would grant such rights of self-determination to the minorities of America!

In the resolution while condemning the American policy towards the Muslim states it was demanded from president Obama to stop illegal interference in oppressed and Muslim states of the world and let them to decide their destiny. In another resolution religious sanctions in Belgium and France were highly condemned and were declared as equivalent to hijacking the individual liberty and clear violation of International Laws. The devastation of the sacred graves of the heroes of Islam in Libya and other countries were called as blasphemy to the entire humanity and it was stressed to the international organizations to play their role to ensure the protection of these sacred tombs and graves.
