RAWALPINDI, December 8: In accordance with the martyrdom anniversary of Syad ud Sajidain Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH), the mourning assemblies and processions of Ashra e Bimar e Karbala continued on Friday. In mosques and Imam Bargahaz, the Ulema and Zakireen highlighted the pious character and life of Beemar e Karbala Imam Sajjad (PBUH) and declared its practical implementation as the best way of success and salvation in both the worlds.

While addressing to a mourning assembly arranged under the auspice of Syed Gul Pir Shah Kazmi at Choharr Harpal Rawalpindi, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the most precious assets through which Islam attained stability. He further said that Imam Aali Maqaam (PBUH) is not specifically associated to any particular race or society rather all the schools of thought value his sacrifice.

Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi asserted that Imam Hussain (PBUH) while prostrating to Almighty Allah saved the dignity and honour of monotheism. He said that the month of Muharram is associated with Imam Hussain (PBUH) and all the schools of thought commemorate his sacrifice without any discrimination. He said that the observance of the mourning of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and the celebrations of Milaad un Naqi (PBUH & HHP) are internationally observed programs in which Shia-Sunni all schools of thought mutually demonstrate unity and brotherhood, which is also a source of paying off the reward of the Prophethood.

Allama Matloob Hussain Taqi said that the chief of martyrs, Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) was the embodiment of Knowledge, wisdom, piety, chastity, worship, tolerance and patience. He said that the grief of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a collective inheritance of all the people of conscience in the world. He stressed that Muslims from the entire world observe the grief and mourning of Imam e Mazloom mutually and without any discrimination which proves that Azadari is the symbol of unity amongst the Muslim nation. On this occasion, through a resolution thousands of participants of the mourning assembly reiterated their resolve that the code of Azadari issued by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi will be followed till 8th of Rabi ul Awal while displaying unity and brotherhood during the mourning of Imam e Mazloom (PBUH) and any conspiracy of the enemy will never be let succeeded.

While addressing to the mourning assembly at Ali Hall, arranged by Hayat Tulubae Islamia, Moulana Mohsin Sharifi said that after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH), Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) gave eternal life to the concept of Toheed and the principles of Islam by delivering charismatic sermons in the courts of Yazid and Ibn e Zayad and propagated the massage of Hussainiat with bravery and valance. He said that the collection of Imam Zain ul Abideen’s supplications, which is known as “Sahifa Sajadiya” is still a great source of the approval of prayers and relief for the destitute and needy people. Assembly was concluded on Matamdari.
