Respect of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah is obligatory and their insult is a great sin; the colonial powers are using all their energies against Islam

Safety of the sacred places should be ensured; the suicide attack on SP in Peshawar and firing on Mohsin Rizvi in Karachi are the continuation of terrorism; Blasphemy of the Holy Quran and American threats against Islamic countries are condemnable - addresses of Ullema on the commencement of the “Days to highlight the dignity of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah”

RAWALPINDI, March 17: In accordance with the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the “Days to highlight the dignity of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah” commenced on Friday. On this occasion the day started with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran. In the mosques, during the Friday sermons, Ullema and Zakireen highlighted the importance, dignity and honour of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah, heroes of Islam and the Islamic Sharia.

On the occasion of the “Days to highlight the dignity of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah”, while addressing to the Friday congregations in the mosques of the Rawalpindi region, Ullema and Zakireen expressed great anxiety over continued terrorism and all the problems faced by the Muslim world and greatly condemned the blasphemy against the Holy Quran as a heinous conspiracy of the colonial powers.

While addressing to the sermon of the "Days to highlight the dignity of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah" at Jamia Masjid Ahlaibait, president TNFJ for provincial council Panjab, Allama Syed Hussain Muqadssi said that the signs attributed to Almighty Allah are the commemorations of His glory and a medium to know Him. To honour and respect these signs is considered obligatory by all the religions. He said that Islam’s principle source is the Holy Quran, which is a complete code of life and a chief source of salvation for the all humanity in which the respect of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah is made obligatory. The peak of worships is Taqwa (chastity) therefore the respect of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah are obligatory while insulting them is a great sin. Allama Muqadsi said that the colonial powers, as always, are using all of their energies against Islam and are busy interfering in the internal affairs of the Muslim countries which is open aggression. The height of pity and anxiety is that the signs attributed to Almighty Allah and the heroes of Islam are being insulted continuously. Bombing of the sacred places, making portraits of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and burning of the copies of the Holy Quran are the favoured hobbies of the colonial powers. Recently in Afghanistan a devilish attempt was again made to burn a copy of the Holy Quran, subsequently an American soldier demonstrated brutality and killed dozens of innocent people including children while America declared it a personal act and safely moved the culprit out of Afghanistan like Raymond Davis. How shameful it is for us that whenever America wishes, she takes its own criminals to America and even punishes our citizens in her own country! He said that it is highly condemnable that most of the leaders of the Muslim states are also working as agents of the imperialistic powers and, because of their weakness, the entire Muslim world is suffering.

While addressing to the Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid Sakhi Shah Piyara Rawalpindi, the deputy convener of the committee of the “Days to highlight the dignity of the signs attributed to Almighty Allah” Allama Syed Abu al Hassan Taqi said that the Holy Quran is not only a source of guidance but also a great source of the Islamic Sharia. He said that the Holy Quran has set the standards of honour and dignity as well as insult and disgrace for the nations of the world. Those people who honestly believe and practice the teachings of the Holy Quran remain successful in all walks of life.

Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani, while addressing at Jamia Masjid Qasr e Abu Talib (PBUH) said that the Holy Quran is the great divine book whose teachings are for everyone and therefore it is called the book for all times. On this occasion, through a resolution, the deplorable incidents of a suicide attack on SP Peshawar and the firing on the religious leader Mohsin Rizvi in Karachi was declared as continuation of terrorism and the result of unchecked liberty given to the banned terrorist organizations by the government.  In the resolution it was demanded that instead of fighting for the attainment of political power, the government should pay attention to the establishment of peace and must stop the activities of the banned groups with their new identities.
