The pious character of Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) is the best example for the labourers of the world – Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate The movement started with the blood of the courageous people of Chicago became a milestone for the better future of labourers; had enemies of society been dealt with an iron hand, today the people living in Karachi would not have to see these days – Address of the general secretary of the TNFJ to the gathering of the May Day RAWALPINDI, May 2: the general secretary of the TNFJ Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate said that the pious character of Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) is the best example and a complete code of life for the labourers of the world. He expressed his views while addressing to the gathering in connection with the May Day organized by Mukhtar Students Organization at Zainal Abideen (PBUH) Academy.Mazhar Ali Shah reminded that in the religions of the world only Islam has honour to provide solution for every problem faced by humanity. He said that the Holy Quran, which is called book of divine practices addresses faithful and humans on every occasion and while using the word action in many different context emphasized on working hard since life flourishes with actions. He said that out of all the problems main ones are financial and for the same reason the great religion of Islam does not want its followers to become idols or beggar rather it is the religion of actions and practices. He said that out of all the Messengers and the Prophets of Almighty Allah (PBUT) our Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) is the most dignified and honourable who himself advised his followers to work hard. He said that in Islam begging was condemned and those who work hard to meet their ends are called friends of Almighty Allah; according to Islam the upper hand is better then the hand underneath mean a person who gives is better then who receives. He said that in the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) Imam Ali (PBUH) used to work as a labour; similarly other infallible Imams were also in the routine of working hard; furthermore the daughter of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) used to mill flour by herself. The general secretary of the TNFJ said that May 1st, the international day for labourers is the practical lesson of Islam but Islam is not the religion of excess or deficiency rather it protects the right of labourers therefore if we wants to achieve this objective we will have to adopt the policy of helping the oppressed and hating oppressors; especially we will have to stand hand in hand for the rights of the oppressed of Kashmir, Palestine and other parts of the world. The participants of the gathering approved the resolution presented by the general secretary of MSO Syed Aoun Abbas Kazmi in which great tributes were paid to the hard working classes of Chicago who wrote history for labourers with their blood. In the resolution it was reminded that the movement started by the hard working classes of Chicago by sacrificing their lives was proven to be the milestone for the rights of labourers. In another resolution the grave concern was expressed over the peace situation of the motherland especially the destruction being caused during the police crack down operation against the criminal in Liyari and reminded that during this operation the resistance met by the police shows that the criminals rooted deep into the society and had enemies of society been dealt with iron hand, today the people living in Karachi would not have to see these days; at this instance, in Karachi the authority of government can not be seen any where and this matter is of great concern that since the operation started the interior minister for Sindh has gone on Holiday.
