Blessings of registration of the Election Commission on already declared banned groups poses serious question - Hamid Moosavi

Sectarian violence is being promoted in the name of the religion; those parties will openly be supported who will assure the implementation of the TNFJ’s Charter of Demands; allowing sectarian or religious politics will lead to such kind of fanatic law making which can bring about further terrorism; it will not only be precarious for the country but will also be dangerous for the entire Muslim World; Pakistan Election Commission should discourage sectarian politics; the registration of the banned groups should be cancelled for the up coming elections; those who are questioning the directives of the Election Commission are the remains of the Indian Congress - address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya to the national delegation

ISLAMABAD, April 20: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi said that the decision of the election commission regarding the election campaign in the name of the religion as a criminal act with the sanction of three years imprisonment is an excellent decision which will root out the cause of the promotion of sectarian bias. While addressing to the fifty-one members of the national delegation at Jamia tul Murtaza, the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi said that there is no doubt that Pakistan is an ideological state yet it does not at all mean that it should be pushed into the hell of sectarian fanaticism. He said that the semi-political and religious parties always try to prove other schools of thought as non-Muslim and try to impose their “self-made” point of view about religion on others. The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya said that sectarian violence is being promoted in the name of the religion. To avoid such misconduct, Election Commission has declared political campaigns in the name of religion as a criminal act, which is a praiseworthy. He said that all those political parties who claim to be religious are the root causes of establishing sectarian groups, which were nourished during the dictatorship of Zia ul Haq. As the result of which they kept promoting sectarian fanaticism and racial apartheids; countless innocent blood was shed which promoted impatience, mal-politics and terrorism. He said that to control fanatic actions of theo-radical political parties, though Pakistan election commission has put sanctions on them as they will not be voted but simultaneously the registration of these political parties for coming elections is also a question mark because most of are banned by the government. He said that the statements of Pakistan Election Commission are self-contradictory and questioned as under what necessity the banned groups have been registered for coming elections? He said that if God forbids, the religious political parties are allowed to carry out sectarian politics practically, the law making will be done on sectarian basis in the National Assembly which can bring about vitiation and subdivision in the Muslim nation. He said that from Para Chinar to Karachi and from Quetta to Gilgit Baltistan this nation is facing the most crucial time where every eye is tearful while on the basis of province, religion and language, unrest is already on its peak. Now if the politics is carried out in the name of the religion it will not only be precarious for the country but will also be dangerous for the entire Muslim World. He said that sectarian politics is funded by the foreign aids and bring new agendas and policies directed by their donors; thus the government should call these countries’ ambassadors in the Home Office and should officially condemn their acts and make it clear to them that such kind of interference will be considered as an attack on our integrity and sovereignty. He said that for the establishment of fair election it is important for the election commission to discourage the proliferation of sectarian politics because the contemporary religious politicians are basically the promoter of sectarianism and are asking for vote in the name of specific sect and calling other schools of thought as non-Muslim. Since Pakistan has been declared as an Islamic state, the Constitution of Pakistan has also given the definition of Muslim. Thus whosoever is calling a Muslim as non-Muslim should be punished for the violation of the constitution of Pakistan. Aqae Moosavi said that participating in the coming elections does not actually required any religious or sectarian affiliation but it is on the basis of citizenship and other qualifications given in the constitution. He asserted that by the Grace of Almighty Allah, Islam is not in danger but whatsoever is faced by the Muslim nation currently, is the result of fanatically sect-adoration thoughts. He said that ultimately Islam will be victorious and will dominate the entire world. He asserted that Islam is not just for Muslims, but it is a beacon of light for the entire humanity and a complete code of life to follow. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Pakistan Election Commission should prove its honesty and sincerity by cancelling registration of the banned groups and ousting them from the coming elections or else the statements of Pakistan Election Commission and its directions will not be more than hypocritical double-faced statements. The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi iterated that those who are imposing the directives of the Election Commission are the remains of the Indian Congress who had called the Quaid e Azam as Kafir e Azam (a polytheist) and Pakistan (a Pious land) as Nijistan (an impious land), and also those who, at the time of the fall of Dhaka, had said thanks that we were not amongst those sinners who created Pakistan- upon which our archenemy India boasted that it has sunk the Two-Nation theory in a Bay of Bengal. The declaration of the Election commission regarding the election campaign in the name of religion has exposed the secret mechanism of such congressmen who, through sectarian politics, want to proliferate sectarian violence and civil war like situation in the country and dreaming to see the failure of the Two-Nation Theory but they are daydreaming. The existence of Pakistan is an absolute reality like the sunshine at daytime, which cannot be ignored, cannot be denied. He said that because of the factor of terrorism, political campaign is not being carried out as usual. Neither there are any political processions, nor corner meetings, not even the public is showing any traditional zeal for the coming elections though more than 150 political parties are contesting for the elections. Free hand has been given to “trio-alliances” by the terrorists then who would be responsible for the safety of others? Pakistan Election Commission must provide the reply for it.

Aqae Moosavi said that at the time of oath taking, the Chief Election Commission had said that maintaining peace would be their top priority but since then to this day an increase was sought in the incidents of terrorism, bomb blasts and target killings. Few days ago the convoy of FWO was attacked in result of which seven security personals were killed and more than dozens got injured. He said that even the care-taking government is known to the situation and is confirmed by the secret agencies that more than three dozens people are on the hit list of the terrorists. Attack on the convoy of Sanaullah Zahiri at Khasa Dar and bomb blast in Mundaberi, Peshawar is continuity of the same plan; thus the evil plans of the enemy are not hidden from anyone now. He said that the worst of all, no solid plans are given by even the care-taking government to ensure the security measures in the country instead some of the important people’s security has been deliberately reduced which led to increase in the incidents of terrorism. If the security measures are not taken, it would lead to a fear because if the politicians are not safe, who would guarantee for the safe elections?

He said that political parties are in contact with the Election Committee of the Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya and we will openly support those who will assure the implementation of our Charter of Demands in black and white.

The participants of the delegations thanked to the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi and pledged that for the rights of the nation they will always be ready to follow their Quaid’s directions.
