The adjustment of the banned groups with the political parties is a catastrophically dangerous sign for the beloved homeland Pakistan - Tanzeem Shia Aaima Masajid The decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan for the declaration of demanding vote in the name of religion or sectarian basis as a criminal act is highly appreciable, provided that it is practically put into action; Millat e Shia will follow the decision taken by the Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh Jafariya in order to exercise its right of vote - addresses of Ullema to the Friday sermons ISLAMABAD, April 20: The religious scholars belonging to the Tanzeem Shia Aaima Masajid, during their sermons of Friday congregational prayers, highly appreciated the decision taken by the Election Commission of Pakistan for the declaration of demanding vote in the name of religion or sectarian basis as a criminal act, provided that it is practically put into action. Ullema, while condemning the incidents of terrorism in Quetta, KPK and Karachi, declared these incidents as attempts to sabotage the process of upcoming elections. While addressing at the Centre of Tanzeem, Al-Kazim, Allama Syed Hussain Kazmi said that the adjustment of the banned groups with the political parties is a catastrophically dangerous sign for our beloved homeland, Pakistan and completely against its ideological basis. He asserted that Pakistan has been engulfed by extreme level of terrorism and anarchy for a long period which has deteriorated it economically, socially and led to the loss of more than fifty thousand lives while more than triple got injured. Uncertainty prevails everywhere, even the care taking government push the country into the darkness of conflict, as every person wants to impose his own will. He said that the decisions of Pakistan Election Commission are itself contradictory. Though the dates have been fixed for elections and the candidates have also been short-listed yet still a weird state-of-affairs have been created which is making a suspicious scenario whether the elections will be held or not. He said that Pakistan was founded in the name of Islam, not in the name of any particular sect. Thus every citizen should have the right to vote; on one hand Pakistan Election Commission has registered the banned groups and even has allotted them election signs while on the other hand Commission has declared the demanding vote in the name of religion or sectarian basis as a criminal act backed by the sanction of three years imprisonment. Some of the banned groups are even making agreements with the influential political parties which is exactly going to fuel up the factories of “promoting sectarian division” funded by imperialistic powers. Manipulating the religious sentiments of the people by using any sect to obtain vote can lead to such a critical impasse that will destroy everything. That’s exactly our enemy wants to divide the nation into fanatically radical sectarian groups and make them fight with one another and to show the world that the “Two Nation Theory” was wrong. Allama Hussain Kazmi demanded that to ensure the smooth process of coming elections sufficient measures should be taken to stop terrorism and those groups which have been declared as banned by the government of Pakistan itself, which are even busy adjusting themselves with some of the political parties as well, should be made to sign on code of conduct so that the nation is ensured that the election commission actually wants to hold elections. In more than five hundred mosques of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, it was made clear through resolutions during Friday sermons that the only representative organization of Maktab e Tasheyyo is Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh Jafariya and Shia nation will follow the decision taken by the Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh Jafariya in order to exercise its right to vote. Great anxiety was expressed in the resolution that even the major and senior political parties could not differentiate among those who are patriotic, followers of the ideological basis of Pakistan, peace lovers and terrorists and the enemies of Pakistan. Special supplications were also made in the resolutions for the martyrs of the different incidents of terrorism throughout the country.
