Hazrat Ummul Banin (PBUH) is the mother of Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (PBUH), the standard bearer of the army of Imam Hussain (PBUH); her passion of sacrifice is a beacon of light for the freedom fighters

In these difficult times, in order to get freedom from difficulties and problems; it is important to follow the foot steps of the pious personalities of Islam; Majalis and programmes of Matamdari are continued; today the replica of the coffin of Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) will be brought out in the ladies Majalis and Matamdari will be performed

RAWALPINDI, April 24: As per the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, programs of Ayyam e Madre Abbas Alamdar (PBUH) continued to commemorate the death anniversary of the wife of the master of faithful and the mother of the standard bearer of the army of Imam Hussain, Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH). On this occasion Majalis e Aza and Matam Dari programs were held across all the small and big cities of Pakistan including the federal capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi under the auspices of different religious institutions and Matami organizations. Addressing to these Majalis e Aza, religious scholars and speakers highlighted the pious character of Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) and termed it a source of guidance and a beacon of light for the womenfolk.

Allama Syed Abu al Hassan Taqi while addressing to the Majlis e Aza at Darbar Sakhi Shah Peyara Chohar Harpal said that the colonial forces have used woman as a shield and caused humiliation for women. On the name of culture, the colonial agenda has actually promoted shamelessness and brazenness however, the Holy Quran and Islam has elevated the respect and dignity of the woman while providing comprehensive examples and has put forward the characters of the women from the family of Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUT). He reminded that amongst those who granted Islam an eternal strength and life also include respectable women beside men. On this occasion Syed Aoun Abbas Kazmi also addressed to the Majlis.  

Moulana Syed Ali Zaib Kazmi while addressing to the participants of the Majlis held at Ali Hall under the auspices of Haeyate Tulbae Islamia said that two of the qualities of Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) are enough to describe her esteemed status; one is that she is the wife of the master of the universe Hazrat Ali Murtaza (PBUH) while the other is that she is the mother of a brave son like Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (PBUH) who demonstrated exemplary character and loyalty to defend his leader the master of martyrs, Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) and created a history of his own, which is a beacon of light for everyone. Moulana Shahzad Hussain Sundhi and Moulana Mustansar Naqvi. Majlis concluded on Matamdari. 

While addressing a Majlis-e-Aza that was held at Shoabe Abi Talib (PBUH) under the auspices of Anjuman Kaneezan e Imam Al ASR Wal Zaman (PBUH), a religious speaker Syeda Binte Moosa Moosavi said that during the ongoing problematic era, following the footsteps of the sacred personalities of the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) is the need of the hour. She said that Hazrat Fatima the daughter of Hezam (PBUH), who is renowned by her name Ummal Banin (PBUH), is one of the most respected women. Her forefathers were renowned for their bravery and courage while she was also Najeeb ut Tarfain. She said that after the sad martyrdom of the daughter of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) the master of the universe Imam Ali (PBUH) married with Hazrat Fatima Binte Hezam (PBUH). Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) had special affection towards the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) and that is why she always considered herself a servant of Syeda Fatima Zahra (PBUH), in the house of the master of the faithful Imam Ali (PBUH). She sacrificed her four sons including the Qamar e Bani Hashim Hazrat Abbas e Alamdar (PBUH) on Imam Hussain (PBUH). She said that the passion of Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) to scarify everything on Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a clear indication of her love, affection, and respect for Imam Hussain (PBUH). 

Qariya Minhaaj Ali while addressing to a Majlis e Aza said that Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) looked after the children of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) in an exemplary manner and brought up her son Abbas-e-Alamdar (PBUH) in such a humble way that on the day of Ashura when Hazrat Sakina (PBUH) asked her uncle to fetch water from river Euphrates, Hazrat Abbas (PBUH) took the water bag from her and went towards Euphrates, upon reaching there despite being thirsty for several days, did not even take a sip of water from the river. Hazrat Abbas e Alamdar (PBUH) the brave son of a brave mother created a new history of loyalty, which the loyal people of the world will always be proud of. She said that the loyalty of the courageous son of Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) gave courage and strength to the humanity.
