Terrorists attacks on the candidates and their election offices is a proof of the failure of the care taker government – Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate Allowing four and a half dozens terrorists and the banned groups to take part in the elections is condemnable; the judiciary instead of taking revenge should deliver its judgments while following justice and fair play, in this regard the lives of Aima and Caliphs must be read; the public wants peace before elections – Address of the general secretary to the meeting of the election committee of the TNFJ RAWALPINDI, April 25: The general secretary of the Tehreek Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate condemned attacks on the candidates of the political parties and their election offices in Karachi, Quetta and other cities and considered the deteriorated condition of peace, a failure of the care taker government. While addressing to the election committee of the TNFJ, he reminded that the beloved homeland Pakistan is going through a very sensitive time, no day go pass without incidents of target killings and suicide attacks; it seems like that our archenemy is utilizing all its energies to over power Pakistan; bomb blasts and dacoities have become the norm of the daily life; every where there is a law of the jungle, the care takers have further pushed the public into problems and difficulties; the national institutions are not harmonious with each others; all the political parties in Quetta and other parts of Balouchistan, interior Sindh, Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are the target of the terrorists; those who are taking part in the elections are being targeted due to which the election activities have been faded. He said that the election commission who is chanting about the articles 62/63 has allowed more then four and a half dozens terrorists and the banned groups to take part in the election process; if the elections take place, which seem impossible in current circumstances and God forbids if these banned and terrorists groups are successful to reach into the assemblies then the ideological bases of Pakistan would not be safe. Mazhar Ali Shah said that those who are stopping the President to take part in the politics should tell that whether constitution allows judiciary to take side of any political party. He said that this is a common feeling at the moment that the decisions of the judiciary are being made in favour of a political party, whereas the judiciary, instead of enmity should deliver its verdict while following the norm of fair play and justice; in this regards the lives of the Aima and Caliphs must be read. He said that the public wants peace before the general elections therefore the care taker government instead of taking the public around the bushes should pay attention towards establishing long term peace; it should check the actions of the election commission who has allowed the banned groups to participate in the elections; the security institutions should also take concrete steps to ensure the safe and peaceful elections. In the meeting the secretary of the election committee, Dr Bu Ali Naqvi presented the report of the political parties who are approaching the committee.
