On the call of the TNFJ the "International Day of Al Quds" was observed to express solidarity with the oppressed of the world with religious zeal

The peaceful protest rallies were held throughout the country, the activities of terrorism are open challenge for the Muslim nation and Pakistan; the government should take concrete steps to root out terrorism and for the protection of life and property of the people instead of giving a mere lip-service; the agents of the colonial powers carried out attack on the pious shrine of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) - Address of Mohsin Hamdani, Abu Baidar Ali and Meesam e Tamar to the protestors 

RAWALPINDI, August 3: The main procession of the "Youm Al-Quds Himayat Mazloomin" was taken out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohallah under the auspices of the district Youm Al-Quds Himayat Mazloomin Committee of the TNFJ. The procession was led by leader of the central committee Meesam Tammar Jafri, TNFJ Regional Council Rawalpindi President Allama Syed Abul Hassan Taqi, Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Al-Haj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, Ch. Abu Baidar Ali, Bu Ali Mehdi, Saleem Bangash, Allama Waqar Hussain Naqvi Al-Qummi, Allama Javed Haideri, Allama Sajjad Gardezi, Dr. S.M. Rizvi, Sajjad Hussain Kazmi, Farzand Ali Shah and others.

Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani while addressing the rally said that in order to free Al Quds and for the solution of the problems of the Muslim world including issues of Kashmir and Palestine, practical disassociation with the colonial power and its stooges and sympathy with the oppressed world must be expressed. He condemned the colonial intervention in the Muslim countries and the the terrorists activities of the colonial agents in the motherland and considered them an open challenge for the Muslim nation as a whole and Pakistan. He said that the entire Muslim nation is the symbol of protest on the occasion of International Youm Al-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin that is their basic right and it would continue till the oppressed achieved their rights. 

Chaudhary Abu Baidar Ali while addressing to the participants of the rally said that the agents of the colonial powers carried out attack on the holy shrine of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) who are also behind the blasphemy of the shrine of Imam Abu Hanifa in Baghdad, the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (PBUH) in Karbala and the demolition of the glorious shrines of Askari’an (PBUT) in Saamra. He said that these anti-Islamic elements have camouflaged themselves behind the false mask of Islam and are fulfilling the international imperialistic agenda by damaging the signs attributed to Allah and annihilating Islamic heritage. He while condemning the silence of the UN, the OIC and other world organization said that if these organizations do not take notice of this critical situation then we will assume that these organizations are also involved in these incidents because if they can raise voice on the destruction of a statue in Bamyan then it is also their duty to play their role in stopping the attack on the holy shrines of the pious personalities of Islam who laid their lives for the betterment of humanity. Mesam e Tamar demanded from the government to give exemplary punishment to these heartless terrorists who were turning the foundations of the motherland hollow through continuous incidents of terrorism. He strongly demanded from the government to take concrete steps to root out terrorism and for the protection of life and property of the people instead of giving a mere lip-service. In this connection ban should immediately be imposed on the already banned groups working with new names. 

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching here from other parts of the country protest rallies in connection with the Youm Al-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin were taken out from Imam Bargah Ghulam Haider Mohallah Rassi Wattan in Peshawar, Muhammadia Imambargah Dera Ghazi Khan, Shah Faisal Colony Karachi, Qasr-e-Zainab Bhakkr, Bargah Wali Al-Asr Multan, Adda Pasrorian Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Dadu, Khairpur Mirs, Chakwal, Sargodha, Gilgit, Faisalabad, Kohat, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Deena, Kasur, Gojra, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Sehwan Sharif, Noshero Feroze and other cities.
