Eidul Fitr is the thanksgiving for Allah’s blessings; the countrymen should become a concrete wall to protect Pakistan – Hamid Moosavi The increasing land and air violations by Indian forces as well as their loud claims of Pakistani aggression indicates a deep conspiracy; the real blessings of Eid could be enjoyed in full by getting rid of sins, helping the poor and the oppressed; Eid ul Fitr may be observed with simplicity by reiterating commitment for protecting and defending the signs attributed to Almighty Allah and the motherland Pakistan ISLAMABAD, August 9: The Patron-in-Chief of Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Eidul Fitr is the thanksgiving for Allah’s blessings. The countrymen may turn out to be a concrete wall for the motherland Pakistan against internal and external conspiracies. The increasing land and air violations by Indian forces and aggression against Pakistan indicate deep conspiracy. The rulers going berserk in love of friendship with our perpetual enemy should not become ignorant of Banya’s traditional wicked tactics. The real blessings of Eid could be enjoyed in full by getting rid of sins, helping the poor and the oppressed. Thus Eid ul Fitr may be observed with simplicity by reiterating commitment for protecting and defending the motherland Pakistan. He expressed these views in a message delivered on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr that is being observed throughout the country with devotion and respect. Agha Moosavi said the history of nations stand witness from the beginning to-date that a day is definitely found for every nation that reminds it of their historic background and thus becomes memorable and those nations observe it according to their respective culture and express happiness. Those days were declared Eids in the eras of the Messengers and the Prophets of Almighty Allah; when Hazrat Adam’s (PBUH) forgiveness was honoured, Hazrat Noah’s Ark touched the bank to safety, Nimrud’s fire turned out to be flowers for Hazrat Ibrahim (PBUH), when Hazrat Musa (PBUH) and Hazrat Haroon (PBUH) achieved supremacy, when Hazrat Younis emerged alive and fit from the fish’s stomach, when Hazrat Asif Bin Barkhia brought the Takht-e-Bilquees in the court of Hazrat Sulaiman (PBUH) within the blink of an eye, and when Maida was sent for the nation of Hazrat Eisa (PBUH) about which the Sura Maida in the Holy Quran says: “Oh, Allah! Send Maida (feast) on us from the sky that would become Eid for us and would be a sign from You for those of us in the past and are in future.” The TNFJ chief said Eid ul Fitr is the thanksgiving on fulfilling the obligation of fasting. The month of Ramzan — days of which are supreme than all other days and nights of which are supreme that all other nights — is supreme among all months and the Lailatul Qadr is better that a thousand months like this. Therefore those who are blessed of the blessings of this month bow before Allah in thanksgiving for the blessings of this holy month. He said making the poor and have-nots happy is included in the philosophy of Eidul Fitr. Islam has made Zakat-e-Fitrah obligatory for every person who can afford it on the day of Eidul Fitr that is necessarily be delivered to the needy before Eid so that they can celebrate Eid joyfully. Agha Moosavi said the Eid congregations show the collective glory of Islam and brotherhood. Both the Eid sermons comprise praise for Allah, darood on Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) and Aal-e-Muhammad (PBUT) and advice to perform good deeds that play a reformatory role in society while hugging after the Eid prayers becomes the source of ignoring all enmities and ill feelings towards each others as Islam had been rooting out all enmities and wrong feelings for centuries. He said there is a saying of the master of the universe, Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) the real Eid is for the person whose fasting has been accepted by Almighty Allah. He also said that every day spent sinless is the day of Eid. The day of Eid ul Fitr invites us to ponder over to avoid committing sins. The TNFJ chief said had we followed the path of Allah then we may not have faced humiliation today. He said today we are observing Eid at a time when the whole world is imbibed with oppression and brutality, the atrocities in Muslim States are raining blood and the only Islamic ideological State Pakistan is surrounded by storms and floods and no day goes without incidents of terrorism, target killings and suicide attacks against innocent people. He said colonial powers were continuously targeting Muslims by dividing them into different sects and today not only in foreign land but it has been made difficult for Muslims to live in even Muslim states peacefully, the shrines and signs of the pious personalities of Islam in the Muslim countries are not safe, holy places are being desecrated the day in and day out. He said Muslim rulers are silent just for fearing the anger of the chief of the colonial powers America while heads of the Muslim states are playing the role of the colonial puppets in the colonial conspiracies. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the enemy desires to separate us from each other by promoting biases, therefore, we would have to tell the world that the world of Satan howsoever big it is cannot create rift amongst us because we are the followers of one God, one Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and one Book. He said the whole nation will have to condemn terrorism and biases and would have to become a concrete wall against the enemies of humanity by displaying unity and brotherhood.
