ISLAMABAD, August 30: MO Pakistan representative delegation led by Professor Zulqurnain Jamil, met UNESCO representatives at UNSECO head office Islamabad and presented a memorandum regarding destruction of 1400 years old sacred remain and common heritage of humanity Jannat ul Baqi and Jannat ul Mualla. MO delegation told UNESCO representatives that upon the announcement of the chief patron of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board, the Quaid Millat e Jafariya Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, days of mourning of Sadiq e Ale Muhammad (PBUH) are being commemorated on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of great personality of humanity, Imam Jaffar Sadiq (PBUH). His thoughts, teachings and services spread knowledge revolution and its light is still shining all over the world but with sorrow it can be said that tomb of this great personality is destroyed in Madina Muawwara, therefore, MO is commemorating these ten days with the passion to rebuild the past glory. Professor Zulqurnain Jamil thanked UNESCO to protect sacred places and rebuilding them in different countries of the world and hoped that this world organization will take its part in rebuilding of the holy places in Saudi Arabia that were sacrificed on conservative ideologies and on which the whole Muslim nation is agitated. In Pakistan, Iraq, Tunis, Libya and Bahrain these sacred places were attacked. UNESCO official Mr. Adnan assures the delegation that they would raise this issue at their higher level. The MO delegation was comprised of Professor Zulqurnain Jamil, Hassan Badar Hamdani, Sammer Naqvi, Syed Ali Raza and Ali Furqani.
