The central procession of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (A.S.) was brought out on its traditional route; the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi led the procession RAWALPINDI, December 25: The central procession of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (A.S.) was brought out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohallah, Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain, Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah, Imambargah Shaheedan-e-Karbala, and Darbar Sakhi Shah Chan Chirgagh. Thousands of Azadars participated in the procession in a traditional manner and it turned out into a Jalsa after reaching Fawara Chowk. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while answering questions from the media at Fawara Chowk during the Chehlum procession said that Nawasa-e-Rasool Imam Hussain (A.S.) provide protection to religion, Shariat and humanity by offering Shahadat in Karbala while Sharikatul Hussain Hazrat Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) took Hussainiyyat to its height. The same memorable act of Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is Azadari that is eternal protest of the oppressed against Yazidiyyat, oppression and brutality and is the basic right of the oppressed. The TNFJ chief said whosoever will create hurdles in way of Azadari will face the Nature’s wrath and Azadari will continue unabated until the oppressed and brutality are rooted out and justice and fair-paly are restored. He said we opened our eyes in incidents. Neither our forefathers bowed down before the evil forces nor we can be forced to do it. He said we follow the saying of Maula-e-Kainaat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that become enemies of the oppressors and help the oppressed. Answering another question, he quoted many other incidents that took place earlier but added that he never allowed his followers to create fuss and involve in gherao-jalao despite the fact that we have the capability to do so whatever we like but we had created this motherland and those who make their motherland do not break it or put it on fire. He reiterated that after the Ashoor Day incident in Rawalpindi, one-sided action was taken. While hue and cry was raised on the burning of a mosque and a building besides it, no one bothered to mention that three mosques, seven Imambargah, Taburrakaat, Zuljinah belong to our community were also set a fire by the miscreants. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi reminded that the TNFJ had earlier launched a 8-month long agitation that culminated in the Junejo-Moosavi agreement signed on May 21, 1985 accepting the Shia demands and failing the efforts of some vested interests to turn Pakistan into a sectarian State. He demanded release of all innocent persons arrested after the Raja Bazar incident and give exemplary punishment to the real culprits. In this connection, he demanded that a broad-based high level tribunal comprising judge of repute may be formed and all incidents of terrorism since the Ziaul Haq’s era to-date may be probed into. |
