Islam is the religion of Peace. The holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) transformed the society and blessed the mankind with his eternal message of empathy and harmony The holy Quran descended in Ramadan and by acting upon the teachings of the holy Quran, the world can be transformed into a hub of peace. Address of Ume Laila Mash'hadi to the Istaqbal e Ramadan Conference ISLAMABAD, July 11: A ladies conference on the topic of the Qualities of the month of Ramadan was held under the auspices of Ummul Banin WF, Sakina Girls Guide and Sakina Generation and Anjuman Dukhtaran e Islam was held at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. While addressing to the conference Syeda Umme Laila Mashhadi highlighted the greatness of Ramadan and elaborated the importance of Fasting. She said that Islam teaches the respect of humanity and patience and is the religion of peace and harmony while the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH & HHP) transformed the society into a hub of peace by creating relations of brotherhood among the immigrants and the Ansars of Medina. She said that because of the message of peace, care and affection from the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), the Arabic world became united while the people gathered under the flag of Islam. She said that the holy Quran has pointed out the fruits of peace as it says “Remember the blessing of Allah, when you were enemies of each other and Allah united your hearts and you became brother of each other”. She said that the holy Quran has termed the fitna (creating mayhem) and terrorism as one of the biggest evils. This is the reason that Islam purified the hearts of the people and taught them to fear from Allah who is witnessing all the time. Islam became the messenger of peace for the whole humanity and gave eternal lessons of patience, forbearance and tolerance. In her address to the conference Dr. Khanum Zahra Gul said that Ramadan is that sacred month in which the holy Quran descended on the holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and problems of the era including the menace of terrorism can be obliterated by acting upon the teachings of the holy Quran.
