He expressed his views while addressing to a Ramzan Conference held under the auspices of Mukhtar S.O. at Zain ul Abidin Academy. Syed Qamar Zaidi said that crushing terrorists is the need of the hour for the defense of the motherland and for economic growth without which the public cannot live in peace. He expressed his grief over the loss of lives in result of a traffic accident in Kularkahar salt range and said that incidents of terrorism and accidents have become the order of the day. He said that the government’s announcement of financial support for the victims of the incident of the food street Lahore is commendable but overlooking victims of other incidents is a matter of grave concern. He stressed on the government that in order to solve the complaints of provinces with the sense of deprivation, the government must help the victims of incidents that took place in those areas so that they can be satisfied. He demanded from the international human rights organizations to stop international colonial powers from interfering in Muslim states so that the whole region could be made a hub of peace. He said that prophets, apostles, saints and pious people of Allah practically taught the lesson of love, affection and respect to humanity. Their teachings are still a great source of spiritual treasure and are a source to get freedom from all sorts of problems and difficulties. He said that fasting is a shield against all kinds of evils and a best accountability of one’s self. Ramzan is the month of glory in which Almighty Allah sent down the Holy Quran for the guidance of humanity; which assists in all aspects of human life. He stressed that the real cause of degradation and defamation of humanity is deviation from the teachings of the Holy Quran and the love of materialism. On this occasion Syed Aoun Abbas Kazmi, Tashif Abbas Naqvi and other student’s leaders also addressed.
