The TNFJ announces the observation of the International Peace Day on 15th Ramzan al Mubarak Attacks on the holy shrine of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and other holy places is condemnable; the Muslim rulers should avoid to become a tool in the hands of the colonial powers; the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hassan (PBUH) proved to the world through his actions that Islam is the religion of peace – Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate ISLAMABAD, July 24: As per the directives of the guardian of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board, the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the secretary general of the TNFJ announced the observation of the birth anniversary of the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hassan e Mujtaba (PBUH) on 15th of Ramzan as the “International Peace Day”. In a statement issued from the headquarters of the Maktab e Tasheyyo he said that the great personality of the pious family of the Prophethood, Imam Hassan e Mujtaba (PBUH) proved to the world through his actions that Islam is the religion of peace. Imam Hassan (PBUH) always preferred peace and fraternity to blood shedding and mayhem and condemned all kinds of oppression and barbarity. He made an appeal to all the schools of thought to participate in the programs of International Peace Day and show aversion to all types of oppression, terrorism and terrorist groups and to express their enmity with oppressed world. He demanded from the government to ensure law & order during the International Peace Day. Syed Mazhar Ali Shah while condemning attacks on the holy shrine of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and other holy places stressed upon the Muslim rulers to avoid becoming tool in the hands of the colonial powers because the colonial powers are friends of no one rather they want to finish Muslims one by one so that they may complete their agenda. While expressing grave concern over the interference of the colonial powers in the Muslim states, he condemned American policy against the Muslim countries and demanded from America to stop illegal interference in oppressed and Muslim states of the world and let them to decide their destiny, He said that American policy is equivalent to seizing freedom of other countries and also against the international rules. He declared the insult of the sacred graves of the heroes of Islam as insult of humanity and stressed upon the international organizations to play their role to ensure the respect of these places.
