To get the rid of oppression and barbarity we will have to propagate the message of peace of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar The basic objectives of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s life were to flourish love and gave practical teachings of God-worshipping instead of self-worshipping to the people of all the religions and schools of thought; association with the pious personalities of the religion is the authenticity of salvation - addresses of Allama Qamar Zaidi, Maddad Ali Jalbani, Mardan Ali and other Ullema to the Qalandar assembly RAWALPINDI, June 29: The secretary information of the TNFJ, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that to get rid of the contemporary problems of the world, including menace of terrorism, and to make the world a hub of peace it is essential to get associated with the pious personalities of Islam and their teachings should be practically followed. He expressed these views while addressing to the assembly in remembrance of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar held at Zain ul Abideen Hall, which was arranged by Qalandar committee. Qamar Zaidi iterated that prophets, apostles and noble and pious personalities of the religion also remained closed to Allah just because they were the embodiment of love; it was their objectives to propagate love. He asserted that Islam is the name of love and peace and the whole life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) is transparently evident that He (PBUH & HHP) always discouraged oppression, aggression, division in apartheids and barbarity and gave the message of Allah to the world to eat and drink from the given cherish of Allah Almighty and never create fuss on earth. He said that it is highly disliked by Islam that extremists, oppression-lovers, terrorists and aggressive people make the earth as hell for other people, but what really is liked by the religion is that all the people, including the birds and the animals live with peace. He said that Allah Almighty appointed His chosen people to introduce humanity to the heights of human values, take the humanity out of the clutches of terrorism and extremism and lead them to an elegant and dignified life. They taught the whole world how to live with peace and taught the world how to love oppressed and express hatred against oppressors; amongst these holy personalities of Islam one of them is Lal Shahbaz Qalandar who, throughout his life propagated love for humanity. Thus the basic aim of the celebration of the days of these holy personalities and paying homage at their tombs is to remember their lives and learn that how did they achieve nearness to God. Visiting their glorious tombs remove the veils of ignorance from minds and hearts and provides opportunity to think about the essence of life and death and commemorate about the Day of Judgment and refreshes one’s faith. This is the reason that Islam has declared visiting the tombs of holy people as virtuous and Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) himself would visit the graveyard along with his companions and would teach them the manners of graveyard. Paying visit to the glorious tomb of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) is the authenticity of salvation. He said that to get the rid of oppression and barbarity we will have to propagate the message of peace given by Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and other noble and pious personalities of Islam. Prof. Gulam Abbas Haideri, Z A Raja, Dr. Syed Inayat Hussain Qalandari, Mardan Ali Changazi, comrade Muhammad Phunnal and Maddad Ali Julbani also addressed the assembly. Roshan Ali paid homage to Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
