RAWALPINDI, May 6: The joint secretary of the TNFJ, Major (R) Baqir Bukhari said that the caretaker government should give priority to root out terrorism and to establish peace because the enemies of the motherland have already planned to push the future of Pakistan into darkness. TNFJ condemns attacks on the political parties and their candidates including of Aziz Abad bomb attack. If all the political parties are not allowed equal opportunities to run their election campaigns then there will be a question mark on the holding of the transparent elections. He expressed these views while talking to the committee of the TNFJ for the general elections. He said that it is the standpoint of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi that taking part in elections on the basis of the religion, language, region and bias is poisonous for the unity and sovereignty of the motherland. Declaring taking part in election using the card of religion, a punishable crime was a right step in the right direction but the election commission was completely unsuccessful in the implementation of the same. Throughout the country election campaign has been carried out on the name of sect, language, clan and creed and no one is there to stop it. Major (R) Baqir Bukhari said that due to the registration of the banned organizations; their moral has been boosted who are playing with the lives of the innocent public. He said that the election commission made many exaggerated claims but the way the papers of the candidates were rejected and later the same were accepted similarly despite having limits to how much some one can spend on the campaign, parties and candidates are spending millions and billions due to which the claims of the caretaker government and the election commission have been exposed. He said that the peace situation is so much deteriorated that bomb blasts are being carried out one after the other. The political leaders and their candidates are openly being threatened and there is no guarantee that those parties, which are victims of terrorism, may accept the result of the general elections. He said that for the God sake the caretaker government and the election commission should fulfil their responsibilities to establish peace, the registration of the banned groups must be cancelled and all the political parties must be given equal opportunities to run their election campaign. He said that in the light of the saying of the master of the faithful, Imam Ali (PBUH), we condemn all types of oppression and barbarity and are the helpers of the oppressed and the destitute. On this occasion the secretary of the committee of the TNFJ for the elections, Dr Syed Bu Ali Naqvi presented the detailed report of different candidates and the political parties who contacted them.
