Following the footsteps of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) provides guarantee of success in both worlds The holy Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) was renowned for his knowledge and graciousness - Address of Syeda Binte Ali Moosavi at Mehfil e Milad held at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza to conclude the Aalmi Ashra e Ajr e Risalat ISLAMABAD, May 22: In connection with the announcement of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to observe Aalmi Ashra e Ajr e Risalat, a Mehfil e Milad for ladies was held under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtaran e Islam, Ummul Banin WF, Sakina Generation, and Sakina Girls Guide at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4, on the concluding day of Ashra e Ajr e Risalat to celebrate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (Al-Jawad) PBUH. While addressing to the Mehfil e Milad, Khatiba e Aal e Nabi Syeda Bint e Ali Moosavi said that because of being at the top of Zohd o Taqwa, Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi is renowned with the name Taqi. The holy Imam Muhammad Taqi is the ninth member of Imamat and eleventh of the fourteen infallibles who is the son of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (PBUH), and he was named Muhammad on the name of his grandfather the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH&HHP). Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) was born on 10th Rajab ul Murajab 195 Hijri. He was a the heir of the knowledge of the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH&HHP), Hazrat Ali (PBUH) and Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) and scholar of their teachings in the matters of religion and related affairs. His name Taqi is taken from the Arabic word “Taqwa” which means abstinence. The holy Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) was that great leader who guided the people towards the righteous path and his friends and foes both were convinced of his greatness. She said that one of the distinguishing qualities of these special people of Allah was their wisdom and knowledge, which was much higher than what the other people possessed. She said that Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) is amongst the greatest people of Bani Hashim who were the source of knowledge and graciousness. The tyrants of his era Mamoon Abbasi and Muatasim Abbasi could not deviate the holy Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) from the righteous path. The holy Imam proved that he is the member of that great family of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HHP) who stand firm for the right, and never bow before evil even if it costs them with their lives. A statement of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) goes as “whoever benefitted his faithful brother, he will get a house in heaven in return to the favour”. She said that acting upon the footsteps of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (PBUH) provides guarantee for the success in this world and the world hereafter. Dr. Khanum Zahra Gul, Professor Sughra Malik, Apa Syeda Hussain and other speakers also addressed the Mehfil. On this occasion, special prayers were offered for the development and safety of Muslim nation and the motherland Pakistan.
