Protests of Tahafuz e Mazaraat Committee for the restoration of the former religious artefact on the shrines of Sakhi Shah Mahmood and Bari Imam

Protest held outside the National Press Club was led by Bawa Farzand Shah, Barkat Shah, Fida Kazmi, Sajjad Kazmi and Dr. Ghazanfar Mahdi; the custodianship of these tombs should be handed over to its real heirs, Kazmi Sadaat, in the capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad, Bari Imam International University should be established; the country’s peace and solidarity is prior to us than any other thing, peaceful remonstrative camp will remain until the acceptance of demands, address of Zulfiqar Ali Raja

ISLAMABAD, September 21: Tahafuz e Mazaraat Committee demanded from the government to immediately restore the sacraments on the glorious tombs of Shah Mahmud Sarkar and Bari Imam Sarkar and the mischief mongers should be arrested under the law. Committee, made in accordance with Bari Imam Sarkar, has no connection with Darbar, and unfortunately the same committee was emotionally exasperated by blaspheming the Darbar Sakhi Shah Mahmud Sardar and the peace of Islamabad city was put into danger. No Shia or Sunni hate Alam e Mubarik or the names of Panjatan Pak (PBUT), yet these can only be the out-goers. For heavens, not to push Pakistan into further problems and the custodianship of these tombs should be handed over to its real heirs, Kazmi Sadaat. If there is any consensus of conflict on these tombs, then members of both the schools of thought, Maktab e Hanfiya and Maktab e Jafarriya should be inducted in the committee of Darbar. Tahafuz e Mazarat Committee rejects the new public committees because it does not contain any member from Jaffariya School of thought. These demands were presented in a remonstrative camp by Tahafuz e Mazaraat Committee opposite to National Press Club on Friday through different resolutions. Protest was leaded by the prominent members of the different civil societies, custodians of different Darbars and Mazarat of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, leaders of Matami associations, and religious personalities which included Bawa Farzand Ali Shah Kazmi, Barkat Shah, Fida Kazmi, Sajjad Kazmi, Dr. Ghazanfar Mehdi, Syed Sajjad Haider Shah, Syed Jameel Hussain Shay, Syed Farhat Abbas Naqvi, Sakhi Haidery and so many other important personalities. In a resolution, moved by the chairman of the Tahafuz e Mazaraat Committee, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, it was demanded that in the capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad, Bari Imam International University should be established. The magnificent reconstruction of the tomb of Sakhi Mahmud Sarkar was also demanded in the resolution. It was made clear in the resolution that Country’s peace and solidarity is prior to us than any other thing, yet it should not be considered our weakness. This peaceful remonstrative camp, continued for the past ten days, will remain till the acceptance of demands. Zulfiqar Raja said that it has already been approved that Sultan ul Furarah Hazrat Bari Shah Lateef (Bari Imam Sarkar) was the founder of Islamabad, who turned the city of thieves into the city of lights and predicted the establishment of this city centuries ago. But it is highly anxious that since the reign of Pervaiz Musharraf the tomb of Bari Imam is under construction and even the pilgrims are deprived to visit this holy place. Hazrat Bari Imam Sarkar is the descendent of Imam Musa Kazim (PBUH) because of which he is called Moosavi Mash’hadi and Kazmi. Capturing-Mafia had a plan to remove ancient and historical shields from these tombs to remove the historical realities, which created the feelings of resentment and agitation throughout the country. He demanded from the government to take strict notice of the blasphemous acts against on the tombs of Bari Imam Sarkar and his father Shah Mahmud Sarkar and capturing-mafia should be arrested and put on trial.
