Sincerity of purpose, practical implementation of laws and getting rid of personal and party interests is necessary to restore peace in the country – Hamid Moosavi ISLAMABAD, September 22: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the rulers and the opposition themselves used to trample the Anti-Terrorism Act. He said sincerity of purpose, practical implementation of laws and getting rid of personal and party interests to as to restore peace in the country. Merely introducing new laws and increasing the authorities of the security institutions would not work as who will be ensure correct use of proposed extraordinary authorities, he said adding that had the existing laws implemented in letter and spirit that there would have been peace all around today. He said after taking the decisions of understanding and dialogue at the APC staged by the government, increase in incidents of terrorism is a well thought-out conspiracy to put the process of dialogue in danger. Incidents of continued target killing in Karachi, hand-grenade attacks in Imam Bargah in Majeed Colony in Landhi, Karachi, and at Masjid Pir Anwar in Peshawar pose a question mark for the government, Pakistan Army, politicians and the people. Taking the Drone attacks issue to the Security Council is late but correct decision. The statement of the Indian foreign minister is like cursing others on his own mistakes as India is involved in terrorism in Karachi and Balochistan and in the water aggression and Aman Ki Asha is being considered as Pakistan’s weakness. The practical following of the Asswah of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (PBUH) is the need of the hour to get the humanity rid of humiliation and disgrace. He was delivering a special address at Mehfil Shah-e-Khurasan organised at Al-Murtaza Islamabad at the conclusion of International Ayyam-e-Zamin on Saturday which was a part of the Hafta Wiladat-e-Purnoor of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (PBUH). Agha Moosavi said that proposed meetings with Obama and Manmohan Sindh sans solution to Kashmir issue would be an exercise in futility. The rulers should adopt a clear-cut policy on Kashmir so as to increase the honour of the nation and the country while decisions of the apex court will have to be implemented to restore law and order. There was hope after the joint resolution adopted at the All Parties Conference summoned by the government in which blue-eyed parties participated that it would reduce incidents of terrorism but the extremism increase adding fuel to the fire. He said the question arises that who is at the back of these extremist who are residing in mountain but are laced with modern armament, wealth and technology? He said the Islamic World and the oppressed nations are at the target of colonial aggression owing to stubborn attitude of the chief of international chief of terrorists and weakness of the Muslim rulers. He said the Muslim rulers playing in the hands of colonial powers should know that after Syria, it could be their turn tomorrow. The TNFJ chief said the present government would have to devise a foreign policy free of all types of external pressure to get rid of incidents like continued terrorism in the motherland, Indian provocation at the Line of Control, firing of Afghan forces on the Pakistan-Afghan borders so as to turn the country into a hub of peace and take our decisions ourselves. He said we have no personal friendship and enmity rather our standard is Islam, Pakistan and its people. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the pious life of Hazrat Imam Raza (PBUH) is imbibed with the defence of the have-nots and never bowed down before anyone nor involved in bargaining rather he confronted this situation like his forefathers did. He told the world that the belief on oneness of Almighty Allah (Tauheed) can get the humanity rid of humiliation and disgrace.
