Imam Hussain saved dignity of the holy Khana Kaaba, efforts of the prophets, and teachings of the holy Quran from obliteration, gave eternal life to Deen e Mustafawi; bloodshed of the Muslims is the order of the day, Muslim rulers have become stooges of colonial powers; the power of Azadari e Hussain can be used to confront all kinds of evil; the Spirit of sacrifice is alive because of the rituals of Azadari e Hussain; while following the path of Hussainiat all kinds of sacrifice will be offered for the protection of Islam and Pakistan; “ The Message of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya on the day of Ashura”

ISLAMABAD, November 15: The Chief patron of Supreme Shia Ulema board, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the whole world has become a Karbala at the hands of the colonial powers therefore, the spirit of Hussainiat must be revived. Imam Hussain offered such an eternal sacrifice, which gave eternal life to Islam and Sharia of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HHP). Imam Hussain saved dignity of the holy Khana Kaaba, efforts of the prophets, and teachings of the holy Quran from obliteration while also demonstrated the true meanings and description of the hadees of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), “Hussain o Minni Wa Anaa Minal Hussain”. Today the name of the holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) is alive because of the sacrifice of his grandson Hazrat Imam Hussain . He said this in his message on the occasion of Youm e Ashura that is being commemorated throughout Pakistan with religious respect and reverence. Agha Moosavi said that the great sacrifice of the martyrs of Karbala is a source of strength and courage. Today, the bloodshed of innocent Muslims in Iraq, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Palestine, Kashmir and Burma is the order of the day, Yemen and Pakistan are being targeted through drone attacks, Muslim rulers have become stooges of the colonial powers, hundreds and thousands of lives has been lost due to the menace of terrorism and seeds of discrimination are being sowed among Muslims while the colonial powers are openly exercising their fraudulent policy. They declared certain groups as terrorists yet support the same groups in Syria, Libya and Egypt while the international organizations are quiet upon their deceitful actions. Similarly the rulers of nuclear power Pakistan are also afraid of the colonial powers, in such grave situation the only way out lies in the spirit of Hussainiat, which gives lessons of confronting the oppression and brutality through innocence and Mazloomiat. Hussaini spirit obliterates the menace of dictatorship. Agha Moosavi said that as soon as Yazid took over the rule; he started making fun of the Holy Prophet’s religion refrained from accepting the revolutions and disrespected the Prophet Hood. He also attempted to change the declared status of Haram and Halal while all kind of evil deeds became the order of the day. How could Imam Hussain (PBUH) accept this deviation and let the untiring efforts of 124,000 Prophets go in vain, it was an open deviation from Islam for which His grandfather struggled throughout his life, faced the oppression of unbelievers of Makah, his grandmother Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (PBUH) along with Hazarat Abu Talib (PBUH) bore hunger in Shabe Abi Talib , the Holy Prophet left his mother land, Hamza and Jafar e Tiyar kissed martyred on and hundreds of battle were fought against non believers. Similarly his father l Hazarat Ali ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) scarified his life in Masjid e Kofa, His mother bore uncountable hardships and left the world and His brother Imam Hassan (PBUH) rejected the rule. How could Imam Hussain (PBUH) allow a dictator to tarnish the face of Islam? Therefore Imam Hussain (PBUH) stood against the evil designs of Yazid. Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Imam Hussain is the true heir of all the Holy Prophets and protector of Deen e Mustafa. He was also heir of his father’s courage and the Holy Quran. He reminded the teachings of the Holy Quran and ordered the people to perform good deeds and refrain from evil. Imam Hussain (PBUH) while acting in accordance with the will of Holy Prophet stood against the evil. He rejected from pledging allegiance to Yazid by saying that “Misli La Uba Yo Misla Hoo”. Imam Hussain (PBUH) clarified his objectives by saying “I am not going to fight or revolt or to oppress someone rather I have stood up for the betterment of my grandfather’s nation, my sole purpose is to perfom Ammar Bilmaroof and Nahi Analmunkir, following the footsteps of my father and grandfather”. Agha Moosavi said that Imam Hussain (PBUH) invited everyone to support the righteousness as He stated “ I invite you towards the Holy book of Allah and the path of His messengers, today Sunnah is not being acted upon while Biddat is being revived”. Only 72 souls agreed to support the Imam Hussain (PBUH) and kiss martyred on. The grandson of the holy Prophet left Madina on 28th of Rajab after bidding farewell to the graves of His grandfather, mother and brother. In order to protect the dignity of Holy Kabba Imam Hussain (PBUH) changed his plan of Hajj into Ummrah on 8th of Zil Hajj and entered Karbal-e-Moallah on 2nd of Moharram Ul Harram, then on the day of Ashura He along with his 72 companions offered that great sacrifice which is known as FADAENA BA ZIB HIN AZEEM. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that all the scholars and mujtahids and fakihi are convinced that the oppression and brutality can only be confronted by keeping the spirit of Hussainiat while Azadari is mandatory to protect Hussainiat, because Hussainiat has given eternal life to Sharia. As the rituals of Hajj cannot be completed by offering charity to the poor instead of offering sacrifice likewise the ibadat of Azadari remain incomplete without performing Zanjeer Zani and Qama Zani. Without performing Qama Zani the pain and suffering of Hazrat Zainab a Kubra (PBUH) cannot be realized who had to leave the body of her brother unburied while she was also handcuffed. Similarly without the matam of Zanjeer Zani how could the new generations feel the pain of Hazrat Imam Zain Ul Aabadeen (PBUH), if the processions of Qasim’s Mehndi and Akbar’s Sehra are not brought out then how the mothers would realize the pain and suffering of Mother’s of Hussaini Karwan who lost their sons in Karbala. Despite facing all this pain and suffering Imam Hussain (PBUH) defeated the evil of Yazidiat, which distinguishes his noble sacrifice from all other sacrifices. He said that the several examples of sacrificing life could be found in the history however none of them can match the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (PBUH) who offered his own part of water to his enemies, remained thirsty for three days before getting killed brutally. Sacrificing from infant to the adults is indeed an achievement which is only related to Imam Hussain (PBUH) Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that rituals of Azadari including Majlis e Aza, Matam of Zanjeer and Quma, Allam, Tazia, Ghawara, Mehndi and Zuljinnah are integral part of Azadari as well as a cure for the bereaved hearts of the mother and sister of Imam Hussain (PBUH). The spirits of sacrifice as well as the Shariat of holy prophet are alive just because of the Azadari rituals. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the spirit of Hussainiat stays alive the oppression and brutality will remain afraid while Yazid of any era will not be able to succeed in his evil plots. The Azadari of Imam Hussain is that great power, which can be used to confront all kinds of evil while the oppressors can be knee down. While paying condolence in the courts of the Holy Prophet, Syeda Fatima Zahra (PBUH) and the holy Imam of this era (PBUH), the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya pledged to protect the dignity of Azadari e Imam Hussain (PBUH) and vowed to offer any sacrifice for the protection of Islam and Pakistan while following the path of Hussainiat.
