The government should rescue dozens of mourners, Matmis and women abducted after the Rawalpindi incident ISLAMABAD, November 18: The Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has demanded from the government to retrieve the dozens of Azadaran, Matmis and women abducted after the Rawalpindi incident, all Majalis that continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal be provided protection and all Azadari processions be taken out as per tradition and provided with protection in accordance with the Junejo-Moosavi agreement, action may be taken under 295-C against those who played with law and order situation and desecrated holy Quran, Imam Bargahs, mosques, Alams and names of the Rasool (SAAW) and Ahle Bait (A.S.), noose may be tightened around those parties that have already been banned, the culprits of the Ashoora incidents may be given exemplary punishment after getting these incidents probed by non-controversial judge, and norms of justice may be fulfilled. Syed Shuja’at Ali Bukhari, Additional Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya in his in a Press conference addressed here at National Press Club said the Madaris, mosques and Imambargahs set on fire during the hooliganism may be reconstructed, loss of the traders’ community and others may be compensated, bereaved families may be provided with compensation, injured may be provided with suitable treatment and children orphaned may be provided with patronage. He was flanked by Allama Akhlaq Kazmi, Bu Ali Mehdi, Allama Saqlain Bokhari, Allama Abul Hassan Taqi, Meesam Tammar Jafri, and Matmi Azadaran. Shujaat Ali Bokhari said the whole nation that was united against the American aggression, Drone attacks and Indian interference has been entangled in a new conspiracy. The artificial environment of tension has been created throughout the country. Riots have been initiated throughout the country including Rawalpindi, Multan and other cities purposely. Then mosques, Imambargahs, Tazias and Quran Majeed were desecrated and put on fire that also carried the name of Rasool (SAAW) and Ahle Bait (A.S.) in Chishtian and Rawalpindi. He said setting dozens of Imambargahs and Quran on fire in the presence of army, Rangers, and administration provides food for thought. He made it clear that the administration proved itself incompetent and gave free hand to miscreants. He pointed out that messages were tweeted before the Ashoora procession for preparation to create riot but the government kept its eyes closed. The administration, it seems, gave full opportunity to miscreants to first deliver provocative speeches, then hurling stones and then firing under a planned strategy. The TNFJ leadership continued their Majlis-e-Aza in the meantime at Fawwara Chowk and most of the Azadars were present there. He lamented that that the purpose of imposing curfew was only to stop the Azadari processions as the miscreants continued putting the Imambargahs, Quran, Alams, holy names of Rasool (SAAW) and Ahle Bait (A.S.) and other Taburrakaat on fire unabated. He said the actual curfew restriction was seen in Chaur Harpal and Westridge from where three annual Azadari processions are being taken out on Muharram 11 for years. He said that Ashoora incidents have left some questions that may be replied by the government: Why army was not inducted in Rawalpindi despite it was demanded by the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi? Why all these incidents took place in the Punjab? The administration continued pressing the organisers of Majalis-e-Aza and the Waizeen against use of loudspeaker throughout the Ashra-e-Muharram but why that gave a free hand to those who committed desecration of Ahle Bait (A.S.) using loudspeakers? Incidents of attack, stoning, firing at procession, setting on fire continued for many hours and why administration did not take any action to quell the same? The way weapons were snatched from the security personnel and then returned, no wise person is ready to accept it. Was the purpose of the administration present there was to provide weapons to the miscreants? Was the imposition of curfew after the incident was to stop Azadari processions? How the miscreants remained busy in attacking Imambargahs and mosques despite imposition of curfew? Imambargahs and mosques were put on fire only in Rawalpindi, Chishtian and some other place, where had the security gone at these places? |
