Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi visits the burnt Imambargahs of Rawalpindi

Government must take action against banned outfits who are using the names of Ahl e Sunnat to make Shias and Sunnis fight against each other; some elements of the Punjab government, media and some groups of the Tajirs are demonstrating discriminative attitude and accusing Maktab e Tashayyo through negative propaganda; if it the investigations of the Rawalpindi tragedy are not based upon facts and justice, then we will reject the reports from the investigating tribunal or commission. Rulers must demonstrate wisdom and must not push us for taking a bigger step; if the responsibility of the Rawalpindi Tragedy is to be put on Maktab e Tashayyo, then there is no use of making any investigative commission or tribunal. Media must also visit and provide coverage to the burnt Imambargahs; Sunni organizations must announce their separation from the banned extremist elements; No one can stop the Majalis and Processions of Azadari and Meelad un Nabi

RAWALPINDI, November 20: The chief patron of the Supreme Shia Ulama board Qauaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has stressed upon the government to take action against the banned elements who are trying to instigate riots in the country by using the name of the Sunni school of thought while they do not hold any support from the Sunnis also. Sunnis and Shias involved in arrangements of the Sabeel and Niaz on the occasion of Youm e Ashura are not involved in settings buildings on fire. If it is observed that the investigations of the Rawalpindi Tragedy are not based upon facts and justice, then we will reject the reports from this tribunal or commission. According to a preplanned design, some elements of the Punjab government, media and some groups of the Tajirs are demonstrating discriminative attitude and blaming and accusing Maktab e Tashayyo through negative propaganda while at the same time they are refraining even from mentioning about the Imambargahs that were set on fire in Rawalpindi tragedy. If the responsibility of the Rawalpindi Tragedy is to be put on Maktab e Tashayyo, then there is no use of making any investigative commission or tribunal. Rulers must exercise wisdom and must not force us to take some bigger step. We are not those who bow before others rather we can accept to be beheaded instead which remain high even at the peak of the spear. He said this while addressing to the Matami and Azadars, License holders and conductors of Majalis during his emergency visit to burnt Imambargahs, Masajid, and Azakhanas while the Baniyan informed him about the damages caused to the Azakhanas and the scripts of the holy Quran and other sacred things placed in those Imamabargahs. Ulama e Karam, religious scholars and the members of the central Muharram Committee of the TNFJ were also present on the occasion. Agha Moosavi said that the Sura e Ankaboot of the holy Quran says that “Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested” Agha Moosavi reminded that the holy Prophets including Adam Safi ullah, Nooh Najiullah, Ibrahim Khalilullah, Moosa Kaleemullah, Eisa Ruhullah, and the last of the holy Prophets Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa habeebullah (PBUH&HHP) faced and went through several tests. The holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH&HHP) stated that no one else had been tortured the way I was. He said that Muslim Ummah went through several tests in every era. After the defeat of Russia, the colonial powers while acting upon their new world order; started targeting Muslims and Muslim countries which continues till date. Due to this, Muslim countries are also desecrated and the enemies are using their divide and rule formula against them to fulfill its own interests while Pakistan being the nuclear state of Muslim Ummah, is the prime target. Agha Moosavi said that by using the lame excuse of 9/11, Pakistan is being targeted while the easy way to the fulfillment of their interests is by instigating discrimination and using ideologies and faiths as weapons. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the blood of the innocent people was shed right from Parachanar to Karachi and Taftaan to Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan and then the terrorists and extremists turned towards Rawalpindi during Muharram ul Haram. He said that the month of Muharram comes every year however this time this sacred month was disrespected and insulted in a way that never happened before. Stopping the Majalis and processions of Muharram and making Shias and Sunnis fight against each other is the part of the agenda. He stressed upon the fact that despite the Last year’s bomb attack on Muharram procession in Dhoke Syedan to Masjid e Shah e Najaf, Yazdani tragedy, the tragedy of Aun Muhammad Rizwi’s murder and an attempt to target me through suicide bombing at Bari Imam that caused dozens of casualties; we did not let anyone react and stopped the unrest which proves that we are peace loving people. Agha Moosavi clarified that all schools of thought participated and played integral roles in founding Pakistan where all Sunnis, Shias, Deobandis, Barelvis, Ahl e Hadees and even the non-Muslims are friends with each other and live with peace and harmony which is not liked by the enemy. He said that the government had banned 63 organizations however; the same banned elements entered into the political and religious parties and using the names of those sects for their persona agenda. He said that setting things on fire and inflicting harm on anyone is haram and defeated several oppressors. We are friends with the oppressed and enemy of the oppressors without any discrimination of religion, sect or country. He demanded from the government to present the list of all the victims of the Rawalpindi tragedy along with the information of their family trees. He asked those who are talking about limiting the religious processions of Meelad un Nabi and Muharram ul Haram; that do they themselves protest against drone attacks or disrespect to the holy Prophet (PBUH&HHP) and other occasions by sitting at home? He said that those ignorant from the teachings of Islam must recite the first verse of the sixth chapter of the holy Quran and read the tafseer of the Daarul Ishaat of Shah Fahad and then tell if the holy Quran allows people to protest within and outside their homes or not? He said that they consider protesting against the bad things happened to them as legitimate however; do not like the protests against the oppression and brutality inflicted upon the family of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HHP). He said that Azadari is that eternal peaceful protest of the oppressed which is not against a specific person but it exposes the true face of Yazeediyat and his dictatorship which he tried to hide through a fake veil of Islam, and hence Azadari can never be stopped by any one. He stressed upon the followers of Sunni and Shia schools of thought and asked them to wake up and thwart the conspiracy of their common enemy. Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi invited the media showing only one side of the picture to visit the Imambargahs of Hifazat Ali Shah, Chittyan Hattiyan, and Imambargah Qadeem of Rawalpindi to cover the disrespect of the holy Quran and other sacred objects in those Imambargahs and show it to the whole nation as otherwise they will have to give answer in front of Almighty Allah and his holy Prophet (PBUH&HHP). Agha Moosavi demanded from the government to pay for the damages caused during the tragedy of Rawalpindi, take concrete steps to stop banned elements, remove all the hurdles in the way of Azadari. He said that I visited the burnt places of worship with a spirit of national peace and harmony however; despite prior intimation, media did not reach to provide coverage which raises question marks. He stressed upon Azadars to demonstrate patience and while acting in accordance with his code of Azadari, they must prefer Azadari of Imam Hussain (PBUH) at all other things till 8th Rabi ul Awal and participate in Majalis e Aza and Matami processions. He appealed to the representative organizations of the established schools of thought to separate themselves from the banned and extremist elements as otherwise they will also be responsible for any adverse impact and damages to the nation and the country.
