Had the government devised a broad-based Parliamentary Joint Committee for Protection of Pakistan Amendment Bill then that much hue and cry would not have been raised in the political horizon

ISLAMABAD, April 16: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that had the government devised a broad-based Parliamentary Joint Committee for Protection of Pakistan Amendment Bill then that much hue and cry would not have been raised in the political horizon that has put the democratic reputation of Pakistan on stake. The rulers are following the arbitrary policy and criticism for the sake of criticism on the opposition that may create more problems for them. He said the nation has given the mandate to Muslim League (N) to root out terrorism, load shedding, price hike, unemployment and corruption. He said although dialogues are going on between the government and the TTP but the nation is still confronted with uncertain situation therefore the government should take the nation into confidence on the results and fruits of the dialogue. He said the summer season is on the anvil but the unannounced load shedding is on its peak. The rulers had announced to break the begging-bowl but the volume of loans has increased manifold while unemployment is increasing day by day. He lamented that why Pakistan is sitting in the laps of others despite being citadel of Islam and atomic power. He expressed these views while addressing the concluding Majlis Hazrat Ummul Banin (S.A.) marking an end to the Ayyam Madar-e-Abbas Alamdar (A.S.) here at Al-Murtaza Tuesday.

Agha Moosavi called upon the rulers to give priority to the collective interest of the nation and the country instead of protecting their personal and party interests while devising the foreign policy. He said the strength of the most prestigious institutions like Parliament, judiciary, and army are linked with country’s integrity. He said crying hoarse of being superior than the constitution and it would be better if the work is carried out by remaining within the constitutional limits.

The TNFJ chief said the survival of all lays in the survival and integrity of the motherland. He said the nation is confronted with internal and external problems therefore all patriotic forces should give priority to unity, brotherhood and respect and avoid terming anyone a treacher, none of the recognised Sunni and Shia schools of thought may be termed as non-Muslim and no one should be criticized. He said we are still stuck to our point of view that there is no sectarianism in Pakistan, this country was created to remain intact, therefore the enemies should know that all Makatib are united from school to office and business and they also defend their frontiers jointly.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that the services of Hazrat Ummul Banin (S.A.) are the enlightened chapter of Islamic history who showered her four sons for the survival of religion and Sharia over Nawasa-e-Rasool Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.). The Parcham-e-Islam will remain fluttering high country courtesy her invaluable sacrifices, he added.
