There is a need to adopt the spirit of sacrifice so as to save the honour and dignity of the Islamic World and the holy signs – Hamid Moosavi ISLAMABAD, January 12: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board, and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that there is need to adopt the spirit of sacrifice so as to save the honour and dignity of the Islamic World and holy signs. He stated this while announcing to observe “Universal Ayyam Al-Huzn” from 24 to 26 Rabiul Awwal in connection with the Wafaat of Nigehban-e-Nabuwwat and Risalat Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.). Agha Moosavi said that the Islamic World has been surrounded from all around after the Russian interference in Afghanistan and their collapse in that process. After that, he added, the Muslim blood went so cheap that lakhs of Muslims have been killed in a few years, city after city have been destructed and these incidents are still on the rise. He said unfortunately, all this is being done with the connivance of Muslim rulers and all Muslim organisations are keeping silence on these happenings as a result of which Muslim States are confronted with differences, anarchy and instability giving the enemy room to utilise all her energy on instigating biases, full strength is being used to prove every incident as Sunni-Shia conflict. He said such propositions are not based on fact because Shias and Sunnis both are targets of terrorists, the holy signs of both these sects are being destroyed. The TNFJ chief said that following such incidents, a newspaper office in France was attacked for publishing blasphemous images of Hazoor-e-Akram (SAAW), Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) and Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) as a result of which the world powers diverted their guns towards Muslims. He said the world powers keep dual standards viz. the Islamic World because if non-Muslims demand rights of self-determination it is fulfilled like they did in Mashriqi Taimoor and Sudan so much so that it is being arranged for Crimea and Ukraine states of Russia but when Muslims demand such a right for Kashmir and Palestine they keep a mum. He said if non-Muslims carry out armed activities they are called freedom-loving but when Muslims demand their right for Kashmir and Palestine they are declared terrorists. This thinking is the result of inactivity and submissive attitude on the part of Muslim rulers, he added. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi appealed the Islamiyan-e-Pakistan to organise Majalis-e-Aza and condolence gatherings and pay pursa to the Rasool-e-Akram (SAAW), Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) during the Ayyam Al-Huzn. He also advised them to reiterate to follow the Seerat-e-Mustafvi as per saying of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and confront every tough time with courage for the supremacy of the religion and the motherland and will never allow anyone to cause any harm to Namoos-e-Risalat and national honour and dignity. Meanwhile, a TNFJ committee has been formed to organise programmes for Universal Ayyam Al-Huzn. M.H. Jafri has been nominated as convener, Malik-e-Ashtar as secretary and Prof. Ghulam Abbas Haideri as deputy secretary of this committee.
