ISLAMABAD, January 19: Majalis-e-Aza were organised throughout the world Sunday on the occasion of Youm Al-Huzn as announced by Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya on the conclusion of which protest demonstrations were held on publication of blasphemous caricatures and ongoing terrorism in the motherland. In the Federal Capital Islamabad the main congregation was held at Imam bargah Hussainia Thanda Pani which was addressed by renowned Ulema Karaam and Zakireen Azzam. Eqan Ali Raja, General Secretary TNFJ Federal Capital read out the special message of the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to the thousands of participants on the occasion.

Agha Moosavi, in his message, said that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) taught the way of Hurmat-e-Rasool till the D-Day and did not let any harm caused to the Rasool (SAAW) by bearing difficulties in the Shoeb-e-Abi Talib. He said had the Muslims themselves taken care of the dignity of the Sha’air Allah then the satanic powers would not have the courage to commit blasphemy. He also announced to observe Universal Ayyam-e-Chehlum for Shuhada of religion and motherland from 23-25 January.

The TNFJ chief lamented that half a dozen rulers ran to Paris in the garb of killing of a blasphemous person that encouraged the French journal in publishing more copies of the same journal the responsibility of which lies on those 44 rulers who expressed their solidarity with the blasphemous journal. He stressed the need of bringing about international law for checking humiliation of Sha’air Allah, Anbia, Mursaleen, and religious Peshwas under which case could be lodged against the humiliation of religious elders and holy places of any religion in any country of the world. He said if the foreign countries can give punishment to our citizens then our courts should also give punishments to the accused of attacking our holy places in foreign countries.

Agha Moosavi said that dividing Islam in violent and non-violent ranks is wrong because Islam is commensurate with integrity and the deed of a single person cannot be termed the deed of the whole nation. He said only condemnation and protest against the blasphemous caricatures is not enough rather this serious issue should be raised at international courts and fora. He called upon the Muslim rulers to first restore the honour and dignity of the holy places and keep their dignity supreme because the live nations do not wipe out their signs. He said we have been demanding for the last three decades to impose ban on foreign aid of the religious parties and ambassadors of those States who dole out money to them should be summoned and protest lodged with them. He said there is no doubt that Masajid and Madaris would be proved citadels of religion when they will condemn terrorism and oppression. He said we are not even in favour of financial help of Madaris through government because the honourable nations work on self-help basis and the hand that gives is better than the hand that receives.

The TNFJ chief said respect of Fuqaha is must that is why Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Ibadi had a meeting with the Mufti-e-Azam of Jamia Al-Azhar who admitted that we consult Fiqh-e-Jafariya in the face of any difficult issue. He said Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) is the teacher of all Fuqaha that is also recognised by Shibli Naumani. He said we are being punished for being the followers of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) and are recognised Makatib are the target of terrorists every conspiracy of whom will be thwarted through exemplary Sunni-Shia unity and the Operation Zarb-e-Azb of the Pakistan’s Armed Forces will prove death of terrorists. He said the live nations do not forget their Shuhada and benefactors because the death of a Shaheed is the life of the nation. He appealed the people of the motherland to organise Quran-Khwani, Majalis-e-Tarheem and praying sessions to pay homage to the Shuhada on the occasion of Universal Ayyam-e-Chehlum of Shuhada of religion and motherland.

Meanwhile, the protest demonstrations were held against publication of blasphemous caricatures and condolence resolutions were adopted during the Majalis and Azadari processions in Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi, Bhakkar, Jhelum, Chakwal, Faisalabad, Multan, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Bahawalpur, Vehari, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Mianwali, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Skardu, Gilgit and other cities marking the Universal Ayyam Al-Huzn.
