TNFJ Islamabad held country wide protest rallies on the occasion of the Chehlum Shuhada e Deen O Watan

ISLAMABAD, January 26: Majalis-e-Aza were organised and protest demonstrations against blasphemy and terrorism were held throughout the country Sunday on the concluding day of Universal Ayyam-e-Chehlum Shuhada-e-religion and motherland announced by the Patron-in-Chief of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya. In these gatherings, homage was paid to all Shuhada who fell victim to terrorism and target killing including that of APS Peshawar, Chittian Hattian, and Sadiqabad and expressed complete solidarity with the Pakistan’s Armed Forced at present busy in carrying out Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Strongly condemning act of blasphemy by publishing blasphemous caricatures in the garb of attack on Chalie Hebdo they declared it a planned conspiracy of putting humanity to riot.

The Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Islamabad staged a protest demonstration in front of National Press Islamabad which was led by Ulema and elite of the party. TNFJ Secretary General Zulfiqar Ali Raja read out the message of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi on the occasion in which he termed terrorism a conspiracy against Islam and called upon the Islamic World to unite against it. He said the pedigree of all terrorist organisations is linked with the colonial powers who desire to stop spread of Islam by attaching terrorism with Islam and attack on the French journal is also a part of that conspiracy.

The TNFJ chief lamented that Arab League and OIC have lost their honour. If the honour and dignity of Muslims is to be protected then heads of 60 Islamic States would have to carry out the Shaan-e-Risalat March and will get the Kashmir, Palestine, Burma and Bahrain issues resolved expressing unity and brotherhood and will have to get rid of begging attitude against the colonial powers while will have to take joint steps to root out terrorism otherwise, he added, the Muslims will continue to be crushed in the same manner. He said the million march staged in favour of the blasphemous journal encouraged them and published millions of more copies of the same sending a wave of resentment throughout the world but, he lamented, the champions of international peace did not take any notice of this situation. He said the statement of the chief of Israeli Labour Party is right that terrorism is only terrorism and those who love freedom should be ready to confront these powers but at the same he said that the terrorism being promoted by Israel should also be taken notice of in front of which there is no importance of any international human moral laws.

Agha Moosavi said that we have been saying for the last three decades that a terrorist keeps no Maslak and attaching him with any Maslak itself is terrorism. In this situation, he added, the international community should stop conspiracies of hurting the feelings of Muslim in the garb of freedom of expression. Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that protect yourself from the evil-going of the one to whom you have done good and this saying fits on America as it is such a reptile that does not stops stinging despite being fed on milk. He said the second tour of Obama to India has proved that he is the enemy No. 1 of Pakistan.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Allama Zahir Abbas Kazmi, Allama Fakhar Abbas Abidi also addressed the gathering. Meanwhile, programmes for Chehlum Shuhada-e-religion and motherland were also organised in Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Khairpur, Jecobabad, Sukkur, Jhang, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dina, Attock, Gujrat, Dera Ghazi Khan, Haripur, Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir and elsewhere.
