On the call of TNFJ, Youm Al-Huzn was observed throughout the country with devotion and respect

ISLAMABAD, June 29: The Universal Youm Al-Huzn in connection with the Wafat of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was observed throughout the country with devotion and respect on the call of Patron-in-Chief of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Protest demonstrations were held on this occasion against the razing to ground of historic graveyard of Makkah Mukarramah called Jannatul Moallah that carried the shrine of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.).

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi addressing the Majlis-e-Huzn on the occasion of Universal Youm Al-Huzn, said the dangers looming over the holy places, profuse massacre of Muslims in Burma, unrest in Yemen, atrocities on the Bahraini people and uncalled for interference in Islamic States is the international agenda of international Iblees and their agents. He said the real reason of mutinies in Arab States is dilapidated condition of holy places, denial of rights to people, and restrictions on the beliefs and ideologies of different schools of thought.

The TNFJ chief asked if anybody is aware that how many Islamic States and religious organisations have raised a voice of protest on razing the home of Rasool’s (SAAW) first wife Mohtarma Ummul Momimeen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) and turning it into public toilets? He disclosed that five of the seven mosques related with Ghazwa-e-Khandaq were razed to ground while another mosque related to Holy Prophet’s grandson was razed to ground by dynamite considering it a hurdle. Why the Muslims the world over are silent on the destruction of holy places in the garb of development and expansion in Makkah, he asked. The silence, insensitivity of Muslim World is hypocrisy, he added.

Agha Moosavi quoted renowned writer and poet Amjad Islam Amjad’s column ‘Chashm-e-Tamasha’ published in the June 21 issue of Daily Express in which he says that those streets where Hazoor (SAAW) used to walk through and are named after him, were our heritage but these are not there today as these have been wiped out in the garb of Bid’aat and expansion. Had these places been kept intact in their real shape, then there was no hurdle in construction. It is surprising that the Saudi police and other religious ‘champions’ wiped out all signs of the Hazoor-e-Akram (SAAW) and Ahle Bait (A.S.) in the name of Bid’aat but surprisingly they could not see those museums that house monarch families’ signs which are kept there with proud.

The TNFJ chief said that Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) and Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) enjoy the honour to be the Syeda and Sardar of women of the universe. Her piousness is considered unmatchable that is why she is recognised with the title of ‘Tahira’. He said that Mohsina-e-Islam Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) who used to be right hand of the Holy Prophet (SAAW) put her whole wealth in the feet of the Rasool (SAAW), her razed to ground shrine has become the symbol of anguish and despair. Unfortunately our national media is not only avoid raising voice of protest against it rather they are even ready to mention the Youm-e-Wafat of the First Lady of Islam.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said they have written special letter to the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon inviting his attention to the dilapidated condition of the holy shrines of First Lady of Islam Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) and other Mashaheer-e-Islam buried in Jannatul Moallah because according to the Gulf Affairs report, the 95 per cent of buildings in Makkah with religious and historic importance have been razed to ground during the last 20 years in the garb of construction and development. These razed buildings also included the home of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) which was turned into public toilets which is a black scar on the face of Muslims.

Meanwhile, protest demonstration was staged in front of National Press Club Islamabad under the auspices of TNFJ’s District Universal Youm Al-Huzn Committee. The protest demonstration was led by TNFJ Federal Capital General Secretary Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Syed Bu Ali Mehdi, Allama Akhlaq Hussain Kazmi, Allama Fasahat Hussain Asadi, Allama Kazim Raza Kazmi, Haji Mukhtar Shah, Malik Ali Furqani, and others. The demonstrators raised vociferous slogans against the heinous conspiracy of the anti-Islam forces and against the desecration of holy places.

Allama Fakhar Abbas Abidi addressed the demonstrations while TNFJ Islamabad leader Syed Naeem Kazmi got a resolution approved from the participants. The resolution demanded from the Muslim heads of State, Arab League, OIC and the United Nations to play their role in restoring the dignity of holy shrines and Islamic signs. The resolution also asked all Muslim rulers including that of Saudi Arabia to keep in mind that the basic reason of disasters, sufferings and difficulties confronted by the Muslim Ummah is tramping of Mashaheer-e-Islam and holy signs and their survival lay in restoration the dignity of the same.
