TNFJ observing the Day of Dignity of the religion against the insulting publication of French magazine ISLAMABAD, April 7: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has announced to observe “Youm Hurmat-e-Deen” on Friday (today) against humiliation of Islam and Muslims in their recent publications of French journal Charlie Hebdo. In a statement issued from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo, he said that after a week of Brussels blasts, the said journal blaming Darul Islam and Muslims for these attacks declared them extremists and fanatics. He said Pakistan was created in the name of Islam the Nazria-e-Asaasi of which is Islam, therefore, defence of Islam is binding on the Muslim Ummah, particularly on the Pakistani people so as to tell the world that Islam is commensurate with peace and it condemns all types of oppression, brutality, coercion and violence. That is why Islam as a whole condemned 9/11, Brussels attacks and other incidents rather declared the same a satanic act. Agha Moosavi said that act of a single person or a party cannot be termed the act of Islam. He made it clear that Islam is a universal and Ilhami religion that not only presents solution of all problems of life rather is a complete manifesto of life and preaches peace, tranquillity, forbearance and respect of each other’s beliefs and ideologies. It negates killing of not only Muslims but that of all human beings also without any discrimination on the basis of colour and creed. The honour given to the life of a human being can be gauged from this fact that Islam considers murder of any single person as the murder of the whole humanity. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Islam does not allow anyone to impose his ideology forcibly rather it allows them to preach the same. He said after the Russian break-up the international colonial and Zionist powers are utilizing all their energy in defaming Islam and to declare Muslims as terrorists. For this purpose, the western journals and the electronic media have made it their habit to humiliate Mashaheer-e-Islam and Sha’air-e-Islam. He appealed all countrymen to raise their voice of protest against French journal, and Zionist and Hindu lobbies for their enmity of Islam and humiliating satanic act in Juma congregations by observing the Youm Hurmat-e-Deen Friday. Meanwhile, the TNFJ has formed Youm Hurmat-e-Deen Committee to organise the relevant programmes. Dr. S. Zaman has been nominated as its convener while Syed Samar Al-Hassan would be the secretary of this committee. |
