The Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baaqee was observed throughout the country

ISLAMABAD, July 14: The Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baaqee was observed throughout the country on Wednesday with religious and national spirit, devotion and respect on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to lodge protest against destruction of holy shrines of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.) Ummahatul Momineen and Sahaba Kubaar in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah on 8th Shawal, 1924.

Agha Moosavi addressing the mourners in this connection said, the terrorism on the Roza-e-Rasool (SAAW) in Madinah Munawwarh situated in the heart of Islamic World on the soil of Saudi Arabia towards the conclusion of holy month of Ramazan is the result of silence kept by Muslim rulers on Inhidam Jannatul Baqee. Had the Aqsa Foundation, OIC, Arab League, the United Nations and other institutions raised their voice against razing to ground of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah then the evil forces would neither have the defiled courage to destruct Babri Masjid nor the holy shrines of Anbia, Ahle Bait (A.S.), and Sahaba Kubaar were blasted the world over. He said the massacre of freedom fighters and putting the active leaders in jail is State coercion on which silence of the international organisations is tragic and condemnable. Therefore, he added, the Muslim rulers should wake up from the deep slumber and lay down a combined and courageous strategy in the larger interest of the Islamic World.

The TNFJ chief said that peace in the world is missing owing to double standards and hypocritical character of the international organisations. He said it is not possible to pull out the Islamic World from decline unless the dignity of the holy shrine of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah is restored.

Meanwhile, Majalis-e-Aza were held and protest Matmi processions were taken out in all big cities and towns against the destruction of holy shrines on this occasion. In Rawalpindi, the central Matmi protest demonstration was taken out from Imambargah Nasir Al-Aza, Murree Road. They lodged strong protest on the dilapidated condition of Jannatul Baqee and mosques in Gaza, destruction of holy shrines of religion’s elders including the forefathers of the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW), massacre of innocent Palestinians at the hands of Israeli monsters while Matmi Halqas presented pursa to the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) on the destruction of holy shrines of his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.), Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.), and Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.).

Addressing the rally, TNFJ Central Spokesman Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi presented the special message of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in which he said that the Islamic World was already grieved on razing to ground of Jannatul Baqee that the evil forces on the night of Eidul Fitr by carrying out blast near the Roza-e-Aqdas of Tajdar-e-Madinah challenged the honour of the MuslimUmmah again but the honour of Muslim rulers is still in deep slumber and they are still adopting criminal silence. He said if the restoration of dignity and protection of holy places is not ensured then rule of Shahanshahs and rulers will not remain intact.

The participants of the rally also adopted a few resolutions while raising vociferous slogans in which they demanded to declare the combined heritage of the Islamic World Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah as international cities so that Muslims can perform worship according to their own beliefs and fulfill the duties of their protection. Later, the rally terminated at Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain after passing through its traditional route where special prayers marked the conclusion of the rally. Mukhtar Force volunteers escorted the rally throughout while District Administration had made fool-proof arrangements en route the rally. Police officers and jawans remained with the rally throughout.
