The Day of Martyrs of Kashmir was observed on Friday on the call of Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqah Jafariya

ISLAMABAD, 16 June: The Youm e Shuhada e Kashmir (i.e. the Day of Martyrs of Kashmir) was observed on Friday on the call of Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqah Jafariya to express solidarity with the freedom movement of Kashmir. The day started with the recitation of holy Quran in Masajid while Fateha was offered for Kashmiri martyrs. On this occasion, protests were staged and rallies brought out against the oppression and brutality of Indian army in the occupied Kashmir.  While addressing to a condolence session organized for Kashmiri martyrs the Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Qauid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi strongly condemned the recent wave of India aggression in Kashmir and declared it a result of American support for India. He said that the long pending issue of Kashmir can only be resolved by holding plesbicsite in accordance with the resolutions of United Nations. Agha Moosavi said that all major powers of the world are creating hurdles against Kashmir’s independence and therefore, following the footsteps of Karbala is the only solution to eliminate these hurdles as Hussaini character is the befitting response to all kinds of conspiracies of any of the super powers and a beacon of light for all oppressed and deprived people. He said that international powers have dual faced policies, those who were restless for plebiscite in Eastern Temur and South Sudan are maintaining a criminal silence on Kashmir issue and ignoring the screams of victims of Indian aggression. He said that offering sacrifices for national rights is a tradition of spirited nations. Paying tributes to the struggle of freedom fighters of Kashmir, Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that oppression and brutality of Indian army in Kashmir is at its peak but the international human rights organizations are silent against Indian state terrorism. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Nice, France and termed it the act of terrorists nurtured by the chief of the colonial powers. Meanwhile, protest was held under the auspices of TNFJ Islamabad’s Youm e Shuhada e Kashmir committee that was led by TNFJ’s leaders and religious scholars. Addressing on this occasion the central secretary for Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir committee Syed Samar ul Hassan Naqvi stressed upon international organizations to take notice of the oppression in Kashmir and get the issue resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions. International organizations and institutions must push India to hold plebiscite in accordance with the UN resolutions as otherwise, the dream of peace in South Asia can never come true. A resolution passed on the occasion expressed complete solidarity with the freedom fighters of Kashmir and expressed firm believe that Kashmiris will soon see the day of independence. Another resolution expressed complete support for Zarb-e-Azab operation of Pakistan army and prayers were offered for the success of the operation. The resolution also paid tributes to the steps taken by the army Chief Gen. Raheel Shareef to curb the menace of terrorism.
