The security of places of worship, sensitive national property and public places must be ensured during Ramzan - TNFJ

ISLAMABAD, June 8: The emergent meeting of central and subordinate tiers of Tehreek Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan presided over by Additional Secretary General Col. (Retd) Sakhawat Hussain Kazmi concluded here Tuesday after making decisions about Ramazan programmes, organizational matters and adopting resolutions. The meeting was called on the special directive of Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

According to TNFJ Central Secretary Information Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, one of the resolutions demanded from the government to ensure security of places of worship, sensitive national property and public places during Ramzanul Mubarik and Maktab-e-Tasheyyo may be given equal coverage on the electronic and print media. Another resolution expressed grave concern that Pakistan is in the grip of enemies for quite long and our perpetual enemy desires us to backtrack on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and Operation Zarb-e-Azb for which she takes refuge in target killing and terrorism the day in and day out and the killing of Mullah Mansour Akhtar in a drone attack recently is a part of it. The resolution strongly condemning the American demand to ‘do more’ demanded from the government to revise its foreign policy by getting rid of chief of the international terrorists and making new friends.

Yet another resolution demanded implementation on every provision of the National Action Plan, tighten noose around those extremist and terrorists groups that have been officially declared banned, follow the terrorists in all provinces like Sindh and in the Federal capital and give them exemplary punishment. The resolution reiterated their complete support to every step taken by the Pakistan’s Armed Forces in the interest of the nation and the country. Another resolution asked the government to impose restrictions on the media coverage of banned groups that are roaming about freely. Moreover, it called action against those banned and extremist religious groups that are taking part in Gilgit-Baltistan elections and bye-elections as doing so is tantamount against the spirit of the National Action Plan and sabotaging the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Stressing the need of fulfilling the norms of justice and fair-play on the issue of Panama Leaks, the resolution demanded to check the accounts of all political and religious parties and offered Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya before them all in this connection. The resolution also demanded to lodge protest against those countries that are doling out money and regular funds to religious groups.

Another resolution demanded that special programmes may be presented on the media and full coverage may be given to the following programmes: Universal Youm Al-Huzn on 10 Ramazan in connection with the Wafat of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) who was first to verify the Risalat. Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi on 13 Ramazan, Youm-e-Wiladat of Khalifa-e-Rashid Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) on 15 Ramazan, Youm-e-Fath Jang-e-Badr on 17 Ramazan, Ayyam-e-Shahadat of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) from 19 to 21 Ramazan, Shab-e-Qadr Jashan Nazool-e-Quran on 23 Ramazan, Jumatul Widah International Youm Al-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin and Eidul Fitr.

Yet another resolution expressed concern over control of a particular school of thought on important State institutions including Islamic Ideology Council, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and demanded equal representation of all schools of thought that are deprived of ideological representation including the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo. The resolution made it clear that the motherland Pakistan’s Nazria-e-Asaasi is Islam through which conspiracies of all big satans will be thwarted but they will never let anyone cause harm to the honour and dignity of the motherland.

A resolution made it clear that under the Junejo-Moosavi agreement signed on May 21, 1985, religious processions of Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari Syed-us-Shuhada will continue to be taken out unabated and will have exception from the amendment in Section 30(3) in the Police Act introduced in the era of Zia’s martial law. The resolution called upon the government to exert pressure on Saudi Arabian government under the agreement made by TNFJ for the reconstruction and honourable restoration of holy shrines in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah and apprise them of the concern the Ghulaman-e-Rasool (SAAW) keep on the dilapidated condition of these shrines because this issue does not belong to any one sect but it is the heritage of the whole Muslim Ummah. The resolution also called upon the international archaeological organisations to take practical steps in this connection.
