Day of Arbaeen is to acknowledge the objectives of Hussainiat and a lesson of freedom movement - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, November 10: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that keeping the Youm-e-Arbaeen alive and observing it is the symbol of attachment with Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) that teaches us universal lesson of independence and freedom. Devotion with Hussain (A.S.) is the source of keeping the spirit of sacrifice alive for human values and high objective and to remove the fear from oppressors. Karbala guarantees protection to Islam and it has created fear in the powers averse to Islam forever. Remembering Imam Hussain (A.S.) and talking about him keeps the spirit of Amar Bil Maaroof and Nahi Anil Munkir alive because the objective of Imam Hussain’s (A.S.) stay was to root out evil that had surrounded Islam and reviving the Shariat of Rasool-e-Khuda Hazrat Nabi Kareem (SAAW). The spirit of sacrificing for the religion will remain alive till the talks about Karbala martyrs is alive which has imbibed the spirit of sacrifice in the freedom-loving Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine who will continue to confront the strongest powers laced with modern weapons. These views were expressed by him in a special message issued on the occasion of Chehlum Shuhada-e-Karbala and universal Youm-e-Arbaeen Hussaini (A.S.) that is being observed through the country Friday with religious spirit, devotion and respect.

            Agha Moosavi said the status of Arbaeen-e-Hussaini (A.S.) is an important milestone in the universal movement began after the Shahadat of Imam Hussain (A.S.). He said Arbaeen means 40 and it is the memory of that historic day when the caravan of the Aseeran-e-Karbala led by Nawasi-e-Rasool Syeda Zainab Binte Ali (S.A.) and Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) reached Karbala on 20th Safar after they were set free so as to offer Ziarat of Shuhada of Day of Ashoor 61 Hijra. When this caravan reached the soil of Karbala, the renowned Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Jabir Ibne Abdullah Ansari (R.A.) welcomed these great personalities for which he was also honoured as the first Zair and Mujawar of the Roza-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.). It was also the day of 20 Safar when Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) brought the holy head of Imam Hussain (A.S.) to Karbala from Shaam and was attached with his holy body.

            The TNFJ chief said remembering these historic events even today, crores of people gather at the Roza-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.) without any discrimination on the basis of Maktab and religion and announce their attachment with the great message of the Nawasa-e-Rasool (A.S.). The majority of these Zaireen cover the distance of about 100 km on foot to reach the Roza-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.) and reiterate the commitment to bear every difficulty and problem for the religion of Islam and humanity remembering the atrocities committed to the Aseeran-e-Karbala.

            Agha Moosavi said Hussain (A.S.) who got his head severed for the sake of dignity of Ka’aba, presented the exemplary sacrifice of this family, near and dear ones, is blessed by Allah today that the world throng Karbala to pay homage to this great Peshwa and the protector of Mustafvi religion. He said thronging the soil of Karbala by uncountable Zaireen following in the foot-steps of Aseeran-e-Karbala is expression of their attachment with him because return of Dukhtran-e-Rasool (SAAW) from Shaam to Karbala is this condition is meaningful. He said apparently Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and Syeda Zainab Binte Ali (S.A) appeared in Karbala along with the caravan in a very tragic manner; many minor children breathed their last in the journey from Karbala to Kufa and Kufa to Shaam but the Aseeran-e-Karbala, through their addresses in the Bazaars and courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad fulfilled their great duty by preaching the objective of Shahadat-e-Hussain (A.S.) and defeated the Hippocratic propaganda of the Yazidi government of declaring the Nawasa-e-Rasool a transgressed and a rebel. He said that the addressed delivered by Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) and Hazrat Sajjad (A.S.) laced with Quranic Ayat and Ahadees shattered the people and those who had gathered to witness the Mukhaderat-e-Ismat tied with ropes and men shackled with iron chains forced them to crying profusely. This situation, he added, led to a great revolution against the oppressive government.

            The TNFJ chief said that Hazrat Zainab Binte Ali (S.A.) after praising Allah, challenged Yazid that: your days are numbered, don’t be proud of your wrong thinking and come conscious. Have you forgotten Allah’s commandment that those who deny righteousness should not feel that the relaxation that We have given to them is better for them rather We have loosened the grip on them for the reason that may increase their sins manifold, a dreadful wrath has been fixed for them.

            Agha Moosavi said that Binte Ali (S.A.) said: Oh, the offspring of salves set free on the occasion of Makkah victory is this your justice that you have made sit your women and women-slaves in chaddar and chardivari providing them protection and making the Rasool’s (SAAW) family women bare-headed all along, and there no one to extend sympathies to them? The eyes of every gentleman and debaucher are on the heads of these pious women. How can one expect good from a person whose grandmother had chewed the liver of pious persons and how can one expect justice from a person who has drunk the blood of Shuhada? Oh, Yazid may Allah freeze your hands for using the same for desecrating the holy teeth of Sardar of the Jawanan-e-Jannat Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.). You have committed the crime of cutting the roots of the holy tree therefore you will be brought in the Bargah of Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) in the shape of a culprit and you will be questioned for your crime that you have shed the blood of Rasool’s (SAAW) offspring and why made the Rasool-Zadies wander in streets? May Allah take revenge of Aal-e-Rasool (SAAW) from you and give right of these oppressed.

            The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Khutbaat-e-Syeda Zainab (S.A.) put Yazidiyyat in shame and he felt the roots of his rule shattering and was forced to set the Ahl-e-Bait of Rasool (SAAW) free. The honourable prisoners of the Zindan-e-Shaam become the source of eternal defeat of the Yazid disseminating the objective of Hussainiyyat, he added.
