On this occasion, he announced to observe Ayyam e Istaqbal e Muharram from 27 to 29 Zulhaj. Agha Moosavi expressed concerns on the fact that despite continuation of Pak Army’s Operation Raddul fasaad, terrorists attack as soon as they find any opportunity and its recent examples are the tragic incidents of Baluchistan and Bajur. He said that without ensuring the safety and security of the civilians, the dream of progress and prosperity cannot be achieved therefore, all patriotic forces including the rulers and politicians will have to get united and formulate an effective strategy. Agha Moosavi said that the colonial powers have been using all tactics to inflict harm upon Islam as well as the world of humanity while several Muslim rulers have been acting as their agents to secure their interests. Muslim states including Syria and Iraq have been in deep trouble since long. He demanded from the human rights organizations to take concrete steps to stop genocide of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar while OIC must summon an emergency meeting in this regard.

Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Unless the interests of Muslim Ummah are preferred and protected through unity, Muslim states will keep falling one after the other. He said that Hussainiyat is the name of not compromising against oppression as the grandson of the holy Prophet Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) confronted the oppression and brutality with unmatchable spirit and courage in the history of mankind. Agha Moosavi said that the Islamic months start from Muharram ul Haram and it is one of the four months which are considered as the months of peace and harmony and their respect is proven as per Quranic verses and sayings of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP). He said that the respect of Muharram is clearly established as Imam Hussain (A.S) sacrificed lives of his 72 companions. Agha Moosavi stressed that the courage and valor shown by Imam Hussain (A.S) in confronting the oppressors, is an eternal source of guidance for the freedom movements of Kashmir and Palestine as well as for the courageous sons of the soil in Pakistan.
