Occupied Kashmir is the biggest gaol of the universe surrounded by oppressive Indian forces where barbarity prevails and humanity is hurt - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, Feb 6: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that occupied Kashmir is the biggest gaol of the universe surrounded by oppressive Indian forces where barbarity prevails and humanity is hurt. The deserted populations and thronged gaols of Kashmir are mourning the insanity of international organisations. The slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain and Pakistan Zindabad running on the tongue of Kashmiris kissing Shahadat are the announcement of India repression. The continuous incidents of terrorism going on in Pakistan are a conspiracy to hide the independence movement of Kashmiris. This was stated by him while addressing a gathering here at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Agha Moosavi said the faces of thousands of daughters like Malalah in Kashmir have been penetrated by pellet guns, thousands of jawans have been martyred with the help of ammunition provided by America and Israel as a punishment for demanding freedom as their basic right but none of the international organizations took note of it. He said the Muslim States conferring awards on India and promoting friendly relations with her are inviting the wrath of God. He said even the war crimes have been left behind by the Indian oppressive activities but no international court is ready to lend an ear to the voice of Kashmiris that proves that at present law of jungle prevails throughout the world. He said the whole world should keep in mind that the way of the oppressed cannot be blocked even if all powers of the world are pitched against them laced with most fatal weapons.

The TNFJ chief advised the oppressed Kashmiris to continue their struggle as not only Pakistanis but every honourable and conscious person of the world salutes their struggle. He said the promise of God for the victory of the oppressed will definitely be fulfilled and no Yazid like Modi, Trump and Netanyahu can defeat the followers of Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) who are fighting for freedom. He demanded from the United Nations to declare India an accused of war crime otherwise the League of Nations should be ready for the worst results. He said the deployment of 8 lakh strong Indian troops in Kashmir is a clear violation of the United Nations Resolutions. He demanded that Kashmiris should be given human rights and political freedom, restrictions on congregations and Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.) should be lifted.

Agha Moosavi said that after the tragic Shahadat of Burhan Wani on 8 July, 2016, the Independence Movement of Kashmir has taken a new turn and Kashmiris are offering Shahadat profusely, hundreds of Kashmiris have been deprived of their eye-sight while thousands are trembling in hospitals. He said children have become the picture of fear while the honour of women is being trampling with thousands of people going missing. He said Nehru himself took the Kashmir issue to the United Nations where the Security Council through almost a dozen Resolutions from 1948 to 1957 gave a decision to resolve the Kashmir issue through right of self-determination.

Meanwhile, according to information received at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih, programmes for expressing solidarity with Kashmiris were held in all cities of Pakistan while overseas workers staged demonstrations in front of the United Nations offices and Indian embassies/high commissions in different countries. Prayer events were also held in Masajid and Imambargahs throughout the country where homage was paid to the Kashmiri Shuhada and the participants of these events prayed for the independence of Kashmir.
