The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi announced his election policy for upcoming the general elections

ISLAMABAD, July 12: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced the election policy for the oncoming general elections at a crowded Press conference, at headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih, Wednesday.

Answering different questions, he said we consider taking part in practical electoral politics on the basis of sect, Maslak and provincialism fatal for the nation and the country. He lamented that every institutions desires to make the Constitution subservient to it and it is the root cause of problems faced by the country. He said the Peshawar incident has taken place owing to inaction on the National Action Plan. He asked who has given the authority to the caretaker government to forgive the murderers of 75,000 persons? He said that Allah, Rasool (SAAW), Ahle Bait (A.S.), Sahaba (R.A.) and Quran should not be used in political interest. He advised the political parties to participate in elections on the basis of service to the nation and their manifesto. He vowed to support the oppressed and not to side with any oppressor. He advised the judges sitting on the chair of justice to follow the Rasool Allah’s (SAAW) appointed Chief Justice Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) in providing justice.

Agha Moosavi while announcing a 16-point charter of demand advised the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo to support those parties that fulfill these conditions and demands.

The demands are: We do not want to impose our belief on anyone or any other beliefs will be allowed to be imposed on us, so Fiqh-e-Jafariya should be enforced for Shias in Pakistan; Maktab-e-Tashih should be given ideological representation in all state institutions, Islamic Ideology Council, Ulema Board, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, formed for Islamisation. Blue-eyed persons and those who are given representation under bargaining have no right to be called representatives of the Maktab-e-Tashih; Separate curriculum for Shia students (boys and girls) should be introduced in educational institutions; Establish Shia Faculty in all Islamic universities, giving opportunities to the citizens of Pakistan by providing same and unusual opportunities on the jurisprudence of Jafaria, like other jurisprudence, providing opportunity to benefit from the fruits of teachings from the Maktab-e-Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.); The appointment of Shia judges in the Federal Sharia Court and an effective representation of Shias in higher courts; Fiqh-e-Jafariya may be given representation in state media on the basis of equality; Separate Shia Auqaf Board should be established. The Maktab-e-Tashih is faced with deprivation here. For example, the affairs of the shrine of Sultan-ul-Fuqara Hazrat Bari Imam Kazmi Al-Moosavi (R.A.), who had predicted the setting up of Islamabad centuries ago, are handed over to such persons who had no connection with this shrine ever. Shrine’s Loh has been changed keeping bias during the recent renovation of the shrine while other holy articles that used to prove Bari Imam’s (R.A.) attachment with the Maktab Ahle Bait have been hidden. For God sake, such steps should not be taken as none of the Shias or Sunnis monopolise the love with Ahle Bait (A.S.) and they all love them. Therefore the symbols and the old Loh that had been removed or hidden from the shrine of Hazrat Bari Imam (R.A.) should be restored. In 2005, I was tried to be made target in a suicide attack on the Darbar of Hazrat Bari Imam (R.A.) on the occasion of annual Pursadari in which two dozens of mourners kissed Shahadat. The sign board inscribed with ‘Ganj-e-Shahidaan’ should be affixed in the boundary of Hazrat Bari Imam’s (R.A.) shrine to pay homage to these Shuhada. The issues of Shia Auqaf throughout the country including Kotli Imam Hussain in Dera Ismail Khan should be resolved; Unfortunately, education has been privatized along with other institutions and these private educational institutions are enforcing curricula of their choice as a result of which incidents of desecrating sacred verses in some textbooks happen the day in and day out. For example, in a book for Grade-II, the issue of insulting Farzandan-e-Rasool Imam Hassan (A.S.) and Imam Hussain (A.S.) came to the fore. The Ministry of Education took notice on it when we pointed it out but for a permanent solution to this problem, uniform curricula should be introduced for the subjects of Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies from schools to university level while persons from all Makatab should be included in the Curriculum Committee; Nara-e-Takbeer, Nara-e-Risalat and Nara-e-Haideri are the symbol of Muslim motto and they symbol of enthusiasm. Under the Quranic commandment of انما ولیکم اللہ in the work of all Aulia the expressed and attachment with the beacon of Wilayat, Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) is found. The Haideri spirit is clearly visible in every war anthem of 1965 that is enough to shatter the morale of the enemy but dictator Ziaul Haq, who polluted the nation and the country with the poisonous acts got the Nara-e-Haideri wiped out from the army. Whereas everyone condemns dictators today, the whole nation will have to come with one voice for ending all those biased actions taken by dictator Ziaul Haq. The biggest award of the army i.e. Nishan-e-Haider and the Nara-e-Haideri should be returned to the army; Like Haj and Umrah, the pilgrims of holy places should also be provided facilities by the Ministry of Interior as per plan provided to them by Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya while train service should also be introduced for Zaireen; Places for Hussaini Masajid, Imambargahs and Madaras may be provided to Maktab-e-Tashih in the newly populated cities and urban sectors; Voice should be raised against the destruction of holy Islamic places around the world including Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah and their dignity should be restored; Azadari is our jugular vein and the mourning of Nawasa-e-Rasool is the common heritage of all Muslims. Therefore, in the tribal areas, obstacles should not be created in holding Azadari in new populations. In some areas, retaliatory restrictions are imposed on Ulema, Zakireen and Waizeen that create problems in Azadari. In this connection, all parties should announce their commitment to provide facilities because Hussain (A.S.) belongs to all and Hussain (A.S.) belongs to Allah; The people of Pakistan presented sacrifice of 75,000 lives in their struggle against terrorism. After the APS incident, the voice of the entire nation resulted in creation of the National Action Plan. The commitment to remove the causes of terrorism and stop the activities of the banned groups was transformed into a 20-point plan but it is unfortunate that the banned parties are participating in elections openly, are making alliance with different parties and the Election Commission is silent over it. The caretaker government has crossed all limits by removing the banned parties from the Schedule-4. Giving relaxation to the banned parties is tantamount to treachery with the blood of the martyrs. Therefore we demand that implementation of all provisions of the National Action Plan should be carried out without any discrimination; Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is the only organisation that has never been banned nor it is so at present, but many of our innocent workers have been included in Schedule-4 just to fill in the blank. We should be given assurance that our innocent workers would be freed of such uncalled for restrictions; and Today, everybody is raising the slogan of accountability, everyone talks about the accountability of politicians but no one raises voice against those who earn billions and trillions by working for foreign countries in the name of religion. Those who had not enough clothes to wear and no transport to move have immense amount of properties today. We reiterate our long-standing demand to ban the external aid of religious parties and religious parties should also be made accountable along with all politicians and rulers. Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya offers itself for accountability ahead of them all.

Concluding his Press conference, he prayed Allah Almighty to make the election results a milestone for Pakistan’s progress, development, stability and welfare, and give the nation courage to make right decision to make their future secure. H also thanked to all the journalists for furthering the task of Holy Prophet (SAAW) and prayed for their security and welfare.

Those who were present at the Press conference included central office-bearers of the Tehreek, senior Ulema from all over the country, representatives of Madaras, provincial office-bearers of the TNFJ, and heads of the subordinate bodies of the Tehreek.
