The government is engaged only in pleasing the pressure groups; proscribed organizations are being made respectable, governments must stop treating Maktab e Tashayyo as a second class citizen - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, October 16: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that government is engaged only in pleasing the pressure groups. More than a hundred thousand Zaireen e Arbaeen (i.e. pilgrims of Karbala for the 40th day of Imam Hussain’s (A.S) martyrdom) are stuck in serious problems while the government after delegating their transportation and other related matters to incompetent hands, has become unconcerned. Proscribed organizations are being made respectable, governments must stop treating Maktab e Tashayyo as a second class citizen. In Quetta, the number of Zaireen is rising fast and even those who voted for the government are now protesting but all in vain. Government must learn lesson from the results of recent by-elections. We have been persistently updating the government on the problems faced by Zaireen however, none of the commitments were fulfilled. We irrigated the motherland with our blood and will never agree to be treated as second class citizens. We are not asking for plots or permits but demanding our fundamental and constitutional rights that will never be relinquished. Baghdad was transformed into a center of knowledge and spirituality by Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) as he always hindered the attempts of making alterations into the Shariat e Mustafawi by the tyrant rulers and their abettors. Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) lived as a symbol of righteousness and supported the oppressed. He chose to face imprisonments and tortures and even kissed martyrdom in the same course however; never compromised on the righteousness, we are also remain intact with the same path laid by our ancestors and heroes of Islam. Youm e Noor will be observed on 7th Safar in the memory of Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) and Majalis e Noor will be held on this occasion. He said this while addressing to the office bearers of Hajj o Ziaraat department of TNFJ.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah noted that the pious Sahaba e karam (R.A) such as Jabir Ibn e Abdullah Ansaari (R.A) started Zairat e Arbaeen which has transformed into the biggest gathering of the world. Not only millions of Shia Sunni pilgrims but people from other religions are also seen participating in the Ziarat of Arbaeen and chanting slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (A.S). He said that the government of Pakistan must give the impression to the Zaireen that it is available to support its nationals. Government ministers and bureaucrats make attractive promises and then just disappear from the scene. Focal persons were nominated in the interior ministry to address problems faced by Zaireen however till date, none of the promises are kept. If other countries do not issue visa to Pakistani nationals even then the government of Pakistan does not come to support them, if Zaireen face any problems in other countries, the embassies of Pakistan appear to be clueless and inactive. If the government really want to introduce change, then it must break the traditions introduced by the dictator Zia ul Haq.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the holy shrine of Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S), the beloved son of Hazrat Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S), has been unanimously accepted as the place of acceptance of supplications by the historians and researchers of all schools of thought and that is why one of the alias of Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) is known as Baab ul Hawaaij. Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) spent his whole life in spreading religious knowledge, guiding people to the righteousness, and educating his pupils and narrators of hadees however; despite that, the tyrant rulers of his time remained afraid of his knowledge and respect and reverence in the society. He said that Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) was summoned multiple times from Medina to Baghdad to attempt his murder. Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) remained detained in the dungeons of Basra and Baghdad for a long time where he converted those detention centers into places of worships. Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) was used to pray so much that his beard get wet due to excessive lamentation. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that there is a saying of the son of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S) which goes, “there is a shelter on the sky of the lord where people who used did good in favor of their brothers or helped them during troubles, will find refuge.” Unfortunately, due to the Muslim rulers’ alignment with the evil and colonial powers, the resources of Muslim Ummah are being used for the objectives of others. Genocide in Kashmir continues, people of Bahrain, Yemen, Qateef, Al-Awamiya are facing multiple crisis, and bloodshed continues in Ghaza however; none of the Muslim leaders are still unmoved. If the Muslim Ummah wants to restore her lost dignity, then it will have to spread and demonstrate brotherhood to regain blessings of Almighty Allah.
