Ashura was commemorated across Pakistan besides the rest of the world with traditional religious respect and dignity - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, September 23: In memory of the grandson of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and beloved son of Ali and Batool (A.S), Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and his 72 faithful companions the day of Ashura was commemorated across Pakistan besides the rest of the world with traditional religious respect and dignity. The central Ashura procession of Rawalpindi was brought out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohallah which included the replicas of Zuljanah, Alam e Abbas, Taaziya, Taboot, and Gehwara Shahzada Ali Ashghar (A.S), was led by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. On this occasion, while addressing to the representatives of Media and Azadaran, he said that on the day of Ashuran in IOK, Kashmiris courageously confronting Indian aggression and brutalities is a victory of Hussainiyat. The day of freedom will soon come for the Karabala e Kashmir. He stressed that Kashmiris are part of Pakistan while the only solution the Kashmir dispute lies in adherence to the UN security council as without it, the dream of peace in South Asia can never come true. While appreciating the assurances of cooperation from the Federal state minister for Interior Sheryar Afridi and the Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhamamd Sarwar in their meetings with the representative delegations of TNFJ, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi stressed upon the government to issue the notifications of Moharram Control Rooms set up in Federal and Provincial Interior Ministries on priority and take practical steps in accordance with the promises made with TNFJ for the resolution of problems faced by the Azadars so that the programs of Azadari continue unimpeded. Answering a question from a journalist, he stressed upon the government to resolve problems faced by Zaireen as promised with the TNFJ. He said that challenging the oppression and brutality is part of Hussainiyat which provides guarantee for the resolution of problems faced by the oppressed people of the entire world. Highlighting the objectives of martyrdom, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the grandson of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) Hazrat Imam Hussain’s unmatchable sacrifice teaches us the eternal lesson of speaking truth in front of the tyrant rulers and demolish Yazeediyat which is why every conscious person is grateful to Imam Hussain (A.S). He said that Yazeed wanted alterations in Islam and the Shariah of Muhammad (PBUH&HP) as he used to make fun of revelations, was a drinker and a liar. Right after getting into power, Yazeed demanded Imam Hussain (A.S) to submit and pledge allegiance to him however, Imam Hussain (A.S) refused and stated that We are the essence of Risalah, Angels descend in our houses, Islam started from our family and completed in our family therefore, Hussain, brought up by the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and protector of Deen o Shariah can never pledge allegiance to a man like Yazeed who is a habitual evil doer. He said that Imam Hussain ibn e Ali (A.S) changed his plan from Hajj to Umrah only to protect the sanctity of Kabah and thwart Yazeedi conspiracy of disrespecting Khana Kaabah. He said that presence of Crores of Azadars in Karbala proves that the entire world is mourning Imam Hussain (A.S) and the whole world of humanity regardless of religion, sect or nationality pays tribute to Imam Hussain (A.S). Jaloos e Zuljanah and Taaziya were brought out from Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain College Road, and Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah also.

Central Ashura procession transformed into a huge gathering at Fawara Chowk where Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed them and highlighted the philosophy of martyrdom and narrated the tragic events of Karbala besides expressing gratitude to the district administration and media for better arrangements. On this occasion, spokesman TNFJs district Muharram Committee, Syed Abu Nasam Bukhari presented the resolution of Ashura which stated that the entire world is mourning and remembering the unmatchable sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S) and his faithful companions with full religious respect. Every faithful follower of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) is grieved and people belonging to all religions or sects are paying tributes to Imam Hussain (A.S) who saved the human values. Resolution thanked the Federal State Minister Sheheryar Afridi and more specifically the governor of Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar for their cooperation and demanded the government to issue Notification letters of Muharram Control Rooms on highest priority and instruct them to stay connected with the TNFJ’s Muharram Committee Azadari Cells as the issues of Azadars are being received from different parts of the country while these control rooms must be kept operational till the programs of Meelaad e Mustafa (PBUH&HP) till 17^th Rabi ul Awal. Another resolution praised security institutions for arresting terrorists during different search operations and stressed upon the government to ensure action on all points of National Action Plan. Resolution also strongly condemned the holding of music and dance parties by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce on 5^th of Muharram ul Haram and continued political activities from some politicians and declared it as violation to the Islamic values. The resolution also expressed serious concerns on the fact that proscribed organizations are still operating freely, spreading hatred but also appointed in peace committees, ideology council which is equal to the violation of National Action Plan while on the other hand innocent people are being booked in Schedule-4, which is not only deceiving the government but also the armed forces of Pakistan. Another resolution strongly condemned the atrocities of colonial powers and their agents in Syria, Bahrain, Qateef, Al-Ahsaa, Alawamiya, East Saudi Arabia, and Yemen and demanded that Muslim countries must first make themselves aware of the true Islamic teachings and model of human rights protection by providing freedom to their own people. Resolution also demanded to provide equal representation to the Shia school of thought in the institutions made for Islamization and free these important national institutions from the appoints of political bargaining. The resolution expressed complete confidence on the leadership of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and vowed to offer all kinds of sacrifices on the call of Agha Hamid Moosavi, Wajih Kazmi recited Salam on the occasion. After Majlis e Aza, thousands of Azadars performed Zanjeer Zani to offer tributes to Imam Hussain (A.S) which was participated by hundreds of children also. The procession concluded at Imambargah Qadeem. Mukhtar Students Organization District Rawalpindi ran a Azadari camp at Fawara Chowk while Mukhtar Organizastion District Rawalpindi had set up an Azadari camp at Imambargah Qadeemi Hussaini Mahaz where duties were performed by the volunteers of Mukhtar Students Organization, Mukhtar Organization and Mukhtar Generation at Sabeel e Hussaini while Ibrahim Scouts ran medical camps alongside the procession route. To facilitate district administration, volunteers of TNFJs regional and district level committees of Muharram Committees, Mukhtar Force were also present for security arrangements along with Police.
