The
people of Pakistan stands firm in support of Pakistan’s
courageous armed forces
– Hamid Moosavi RAWALPINDI, April 26: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that a martyr is like a candle which sacrifices itself to lighten up the surroundings for others and provides an eternal life to the society. 26th of April will be observed as “Youm e Tarheem” and Quran Khwani and Majalis e Tarheem will be organized for the status elevation of the martyrs of Pakistan armed forces, police and other martyrs of the nation besides the departed souls of all Momineen and Muslimeen, and the nation will revive the pledge to thwart conspiracies of internal and external enemies through unity and solidarity while any attack or terrorism against any of the Muslim states will be considered as an attack on the entire Islamic Ummah. For this purpose, the people of Pakistan stands firm in support of Pakistan’s courageous armed forces. He said this while addressing to the Youm e Tarheem Committee of TNFJ led by Dr. S. Zaman. Agha Moosavi noted that human being always wanted to become immortal and the solution is provided by Islam in the form of martyrdom. He said that a martyr sacrifices the most precious thing that is life to provide eternity to the religion and the nation as his sacred blood runs in the veins of the nation and blesses it with a new life. A martyr is that courageous son who fights for the protection of the oppressed till the last moment of his life and considers martyrdom as the prime objective of his life. He said that Pakistan has been a target of terrorism for the last four decades and we have sacrificed more than seventy five thousand lives for the protection and safety of the nation and motherland. Members of Pakistan’s armed forces, police force and other security organizations presented themselves as the front line in the fight against terror and kissed martyrdom. He said that a few days back, people innocent laborers and masons were killed in Hazar Ganji Quetta which was followed by another attack on the members of Pakistan navy in Ormara near the coastal area of Balochistan where unarmed personnel were picked from the buses and killed cold blooded. Similarly, the courageous members of security forces sacrificed their lives while fighting against terrorists in Peshawar. While expressing solidarity with families of all these martyrs and departed souls, Youm e Tarheem will be observed to vow that even if we all are killed but we will not let anyone harm our motherland and religion. |
