United Nations, UNESCO and OIC should play their role to restore the former glory of Jannat ul Baqi and Jannat ul Mualla - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, June 24: While seeking attention of the so called champions of international human rights organizations, Arab League, OIC, ICC, United Nations, Security Council and alike towards demolition of shrines in Jannat ul Baqi and Jannat ul Mualla, the Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that in order to eliminate terrorism, getting freedom for the oppressed nations, liberation of Kashmir and Palestine, freedom of Al-Quds, reconstruction of Babri Mosque, and even to protect the places of worship related to minorities and to get the disrespect of Muslim graves stopped in the western world, the dignity and respect of the holy shrines in Jannat ul Baqi and Jannat ul Mualla must be restored. To establish peace across the world, disrespecting the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and the graves of his beloved ones must be stopped. If these shrines are not reconstructed and their past glory is not restored, the problems of Muslim Ummah will not be resolved. Our peaceful protest is not against any party, cast, country or sect rather it is against oppression and tyranny, which is our constitutional right. It will continue till the time the flag of justice spreads across the world and oppression will vanish from the face of the earth as whenever oppression exceeds, it gets eliminated. He said this in his special message to the participants of a protest rally brought out from the National Press Club Islamabad under the auspices of Mukhtar Organization on the occasion of Ashra e Sadiq e Aal e Muhammad (PBUT), The message of Agha Moosavi was presented by the central leader of Mukhtar Organization Jameel Ahmad. Rally was led by the Secretary General of TNFJ S. A. Bukhari, Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami, Allama Guftar Hussain Sadqi, Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Allama Syed Tasawar Hussain Naqvi, Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, Allama Waqar Qummi, the co-chairman of MO Syed Shahab Rizwi, Deputy Chairman Syed Wajih ul Hassan Kazmi, Central President Mali Ali Furqani, Syed Samar ul Hassan Naqvi, Haji Mukhtar Shah, Syed Ali Ajwad Naqvi, Syed Muhammad Abbas Kazmi, Syed Ali Raza Jafri, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Shaukat Jafri, Naseer Hussain Sabzwari, Syed Musayyab Abbas Kazmi, Asad Abbas Hamdani, Syed Ansar Hussain Kazmi, Syed Nadeem Hussain Shah Kazmi, Syed Zameer Hussain Kazmi and other religious and matami leaders. The participants of the protest rally held in connection with the International Ashra e Sadiq e Aal e Muhammad (PBUT), raised voice of protest against demolition and disrespect of sacred Islamic sites, destruction of holy shrines in Jannat ul Baqi which includes the shrines of Hazrat Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S) and other holy Aaima (A.S), pious companions (R.A) of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), Umahat ul Momineen (R.A), destruction of the shrines of Prophets (A.S), companions of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), and other heroes of Islam in Iraq and Syria, and terrorist attacks on the shrines of Auliya e Karam in Pakistan. On this occasion, complete solidarity was expressed with the armed forces of Pakistan engaged in the anti-terrorism operations. Participants of the rally raised slogans against destroyed and demolished shrines of holy personalities and stressed upon United Nations and all other international organizations to play their role in reconstruction of the historic cemeteries of Mecca and Median i.e. Jannat ul Mualla and Jannat ul Baqi and get them opened for pilgrims from around the world.

On this occasion the participants passed multiple resolutions, one the resolution stated that shrines and memoir exist in 56 Muslim states as well as several non-Muslim states and steps are taken to ensure their respect and dignity but the case is different for Jannat ul Baqi and Jannat ul Mualla. The resolution stated that if protest can be made against disrespect of Bait ul Muqaddas, Babri Masjid, Dargah Hazrat Bal, uprooting of graves in western world, and destruction of Budhmat’s statues in Afghanistan, then why cant the voice of protest be raised against demolition of Jannat ul Moalla and Jannat ul Baqi? Is not it a difference between our statements and actions? The resolution stated that Harmain Sharefen is sacred for the entire Islamic world and will be protected at all cost however, the anti-Islamic forces are eyeing at Harmain Sharefen after the Jannat ul Baqi and Jannat ul Mualla and therefore, the entire Ummah must rise against any ideology which is unwilling to tolerate the shrines and signs of Islam’s heroes and Islamic history. The resolution further said that our protest is not against any country or sect rather it is against the ideology of destroying sacred sites and shrines. We consider elimination of holy sites equivalent to eliminating the history of religion and Shariah. The participants of protest rally expressed complete confidence in the spiritual and wise leadership of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and vowed to offer all kinds of sacrifices for the sake of rights of Maktab e Tashayyo, the righteous ideologies, promotion of national unity, and development of beloved motherland Pakistan on the call of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.
