The Moosavi-Junejo agreement of 21^st May 1985 is a milestone in the history of struggle for religious and humanitarian freedom in Pakistan that is also a reflection of Pakistan’s ideology – Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, May 22: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the Moosavi-Junejo agreement of 21^st May 1985 is a milestone in the history of struggle for religious and humanitarian freedom in Pakistan that is also a reflection of Pakistan’s ideology. Terrorism is targeting not only Shia or Sunni but entire Islam and Pakistan. National Action Plan is the replica of the eight hundred paged Moosavi Peace Formula presented in the Supreme Court. Action on all points of the National Action Plan is mandatory to root out terrorism. Some of the powers want to declare Pakistan as extremist and secular, we can sacrifice our lives but will not allow anyone to divert Pakistan for its founding ideology. 11-years Zia Martial law inflicted much of the harm on Islam under the title of Shariah. Shariah e Muhammadi was presented as a religion of extremism, terrorism and punishments which are false allegations against Islam. The dictator had to submit in front of TNFJ’s peaceful struggle. Hussaini Mahaz agitation was the biggest agitation of Pakistan’s history during which more than fourteen thousand Shia, Sunnis presented themselves for imprisonment besides eight Christians who also volunteered for the cause. Even a single cart or a shop was not broken or burnt during the eight months long agitation. Meelad un Nabi and Azadari is the soul of the religion, we can sacrifice our lives but will never allow anyone to pull out the soul of the religion. By the birth of the greatest hero of the world of Saleheen, the grandson of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) also renowned as the Prince of peace and harmony Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S) on 15^th Ramadan, people who use to criticize the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) for not having progeny were given a befitting response. Imam Hassan (A.S) brought up by the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and parents like Ali (A.S), and Fatima Zahra (S.A) brought a new world of great qualities with him.  He said this in his special message on the Youm e Aman in connection with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S) and the Youm e Tahaffuz e Nazriya e Pakistan conference under the auspices of Mukhtar Students Organization and Mukhtar Organization held to celebrate 34 years of signing of Moosavi-Junejo agreement that was read by the Central Secretary Information of TNFJ Allama Syed Qamar Haide Zaidi. On this occasion, the Secretary General of TNFJ Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari, Agha Syed Ali Rooh ul Abbas Moosavi Advocate, Speaker TNFJ Syed Bu Ali Mehdi and other central dignitaries were present as the chief guests. While greeting the faithful followers of Risalat o Wilayat, he vowed to continue struggle for transforming the terrorism inflicted world into a hub of peace by following the footsteps of Imam Hassan (A.S) and condemn all kinds of discriminations, sectarianism and grouping.

He said that Islam always condemned all kinds of aggression and same is the reason that Islam has been a victim of terrorism right from the war of Badar to date. He said that the holy Imam Hassan (A.S) had a distinguished level in the knowledge, wisdom, piousness and sacredness while he was also a great support for the poor and deprived. The holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) had declared him as the leader of the residents of Jannah while also took Imam Hassan (A.S) and Imam Hussain (A.S) in the Mubahila as his sons. Imam Hassan (A.S) is the second of the twelve sacred Imams whose obedience has been declared  as mandatory for the mankind. These sacred personalities are pure and free of all kinds of Rijs and their love is termed as Ajr e Risalah.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that our struggle for the protection of Pakistan’s founding ideology and rights will continue with complete honesty while the promises we made with the nation will be kept without any compromise on the unity of Pakistani nation and protection of our ideologies and rights. On this occasion, a resolution was unanimously passed which stated that operation Raddul Fasaad against the menace of terrorism has been the result of prayers of the whole nation and we will keep supporting it as it has been the demand of every patriotic Pakistani. He said that the processions of Meelad e Mustafa (PBUH&HP) and Azadari e Syed ul Shuhada Imam Hussain (A.S) are the symbols of Islam’s greatness and the Hussaini Mahaz agitation led by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to protect these symbols of Islam will always be remembered while no one will ever be allowed to confiscate religious rights and freedom. The resolution made it clear that conspiracies of the enemies trying to create distance between Shia and Sunnis will be thwarted. The resolution demanded from the government to ensure action on Junejo-Moosavi agreement.
